It's a 3rd party app not even from Minleon. Very limiting, no custom zoning, no individual light control, no music and limited preset options. The control and app can experience connectivity issues periodically. Compared to what's out there, Pixel Dancer needs serious work. ### 1/5 — Horrible app *2026-04-22, version 2.9* Comparing this to my friends apps that they have this is such a horrible app. Looks like a developer took their dev site and just uploaded it to the App Store. Stay away from ### 1/5 — Pathetic app *2026-04-11* I was sold onto cheaper Rainmin wec controllers with great app but it made my life miserable. I moved to MeshTek controller and the app. It’s so much better that I don’t have any customer complaints anymore. It’s little expensive with the fee but you get the value and the experience that my customers deserve. The schedules just work fine which is the most critical feature all my commercial customers look for. ### 1/5 — Worst app for permanent lights *2025-11-03, version 2.6* These work, but it’s the worst brand and worst app out there. If you are investing in permanent lights, this is not the brand and app you want. ### 1/5 — Garbage App *2025-09-06, version 2.4* There is zero functionality available within this app. Still requires scheduling and configuration via Web UI. Lights lose pairings with phone almost daily - I find the lights on at random times/off at random times. I think the developer set out to create the worst possible app in history. And unfortunately for the customer - succeeded. ### 1/5 — Horrible horrible app *2025-07-13, version 2.4* It was bad before and now it’s worse. An installer support menu appeared in the latest update (as of 2025-07-12) and it’s password protected. This looks to be hiding all the low level setup stuff required. After a power brownout the system loses always phone pairing and now it won’t respond to a reset. What it did not come up however was scheduler. Scheduler does not work and I was informed that latest version needed to be downloaded. I have been trying for last one month to download the latest version and it keeps failing. Trying to reach customer service does not work either. No one picks up the phone or responds to email. It's interface is incrediblly user intuitive with all of the features: custom color wheel, effects, presets, favorites and a scheduler.
