Works pretty simply, enough for basic stuff. But at the top right there’s an undo button that clears everything that you’ve done. Reasonable. But it’s so close to the actually canvas part that you have to be really careful not to touch it when your drawing near the top. Sure, there is an undo all, but if you made one minor mistake and don’t want to restart, you have to choose white. Other tools it is missing include: •Color Picker (there is a limited number of colors you can keep in the little color palette to the right - if you accidentally color over a color that has been erased from the color palette, you have to get a close estimate, which can be hard, annoying, and usually noticeable. This also goes for a possible undo/redo button that doesn’t erase your entire image) •Eraser (in case the coloring over mistakes in white shows up) •Paint Bucket (not required, but easier than spending 2 hours filling something in) •A background so you can tell what is white and what is blank (most art softwares use a white and grey checkerboard or a solid hot-pink background to signify what is blank) ### 2/5 — Don’t get your hopes up pixel art makers *2018-08-05, version 1.1* There are three HUGE problems with this app 1. The grid is way to small you can’t do any really good pixel art 2. They don’t ask you if you want to delete everything 3. ADDS EVERYWHERE ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Out dated *2021-09-20, version 1.1* Cool idea but there’s a few major issues. - If you accidentally hit the reset button there’s no yes/no option. So you will lose all your work in a flash. - I had an advert play, but once the ad finished the app closed. When I reopened the app my art was gone. - Not every feature that is advertised is available. - No save option. I'm pretty sure you can use at least ever single colour. It is a little difficult to work with when you make the amount of pixels onscreen bigger. One thing that needs to be updated though is a message that pops up kind of as a confirmation that you want to reset the picture. The reset button is quite easy to press accidentally at big sizes.
