Some of the transactions are meaningful, but absolutely not necessary at all. If you like to grind for things and see the rewards that come with it, this is your game. Various builds you can play with, an active player market and player chat. The developer communicates regularly with the discord channel and takes recommendations, listens to feedback and works on bugs that are posted. The community is also super helpful and will sell, give or advise on anything you need.
