### 4/5 — Too dark background

*2020-02-16, version 1.3*

This app is well made and fun to play. But having the dark blue background on the space puzzles makes it extremely hard to see the black squares.

### 4/5 — Best of the bunch but give us more!

*2019-05-16, version 1.3*

Arguably the best of its kind but the fact that there have been no updates to include new puzzles suggests the makers have abandoned this one for good...too bad.

### 3/5 — Plz

*2018-10-07, version 1.3*

Change the controls

### 3/5 — Good, but no undo feature

*2018-10-05, version 1.3*

I enjoy the game but there doesn’t seem to be a way to undo if you accidentally tap the wrong square. Very irritating if you are on a large puzzle.

### 4/5 — Good puzzles but disappointed

*2018-06-15, version 1.3*

I was quite disappointed that, after doing all the practice puzzles, I then had to pay to get more puzzles.

### 3/5 — Fun, but too small

*2018-02-22, version 1.3*

This game is really fun, but as the puzzles increase in size it’s harder to select boxes. There’s a lot of wasted space on the sides of the board that the board could expand to. If that was fixed then I’d give it 5 stars.

### 4/5 — Great nonogram

*2018-01-16, version 1.3*

This is best by far but the squares are too small on the bigger puzzles so I keep getting too many errors. Perhaps make the side menu bar a bit smaller to make the game area larger.

I think the price is fair ($4.49) when you compare it to a puzzle book subscription.

Please release more puzzles soon

### 4/5 — Game is solid and looks great, still a few issues however

*2017-11-29, version 1.3*

Very nice game, looks quite premium compared to its nonogram counterparts. The fact there are no ads or IAP is absolutely amazing in this day and age so congrats on that!

It would be nice however if there was a portrait version of the game, I can see why you made it landscape, as some of the puzzles get rather big; but an implementation of portrait mode would be wonderful.

There is also an audio glitch that has been getting to me to no end. At least on the iPhone 8+, whenever you select a correct square, a very noticeable crackle sound appears. A fix for this would be great.

### 4/5 — Updates

*2017-11-04, version 1.3*

This is a very addictive game for me, my only complaint is that the updates don’t come out in a very timely manner.

### 2/5 — Puzzle pack blocked even if it was bought

*2017-09-21, version 1.3*

I paid for the puzzle pack 1 a little while ago. I had almost finish the food one and I finished the one with animals. I haven't played for quite a while, but I just opened the app because I wanted to finish the last level of food. When I log in, the last level for food is blocked and the entire home level too. It's frustrating since I paid for the extention... Very dissapointed because I love the game.

### 3/5 — So small!

*2017-06-26, version 1.1*

Lots of great puzzles- but way way too small for iPhone.

### 3/5 — Okay

*2017-06-22, version 1.1*

The game is good and all. It's just the fact that I can't listen to any music or podcasts while playing it.

### 2/5 — Music app interrupted

*2017-06-16, version 1.1*

Even with volume turned down, this app interpreted any other app playing music even move taken. This is a deal breaker. Otherwise it's a lovely app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — For those of us

*2019-05-24, version 1.3*

Who are crippled with arthritis, this game is impossible to play needing both hands if you want to fill more than one square at a time.
This is the absolute worst game of all of them out there in the genre.

Deleting.

### 1/5 — Clunky to use

*2018-12-27, version 1.3*

Frustratingly slow to use as you have to select a square one by one and then select a “fill” or “x” for each one. Other games like this allow you to select “fill” or “x” and then you can quickly apply that to multiple squares. Haven’t made it past the practice games - have deleted the app.

### 1/5 — Controls too difficult to use

*2018-06-13, version 1.3*

There are several apps like this one, and this one is the most frustrating to use. There is no way to easily mark off several blocks at once so it takes too much tapping to finish. I won't be playing this one again unless the interface is given a huge face lift!

### 1/5 — No free play

*2018-03-30, version 1.3*

You can only play the “practice” levels for free, and you have to go in order from a very basic, very simple puzzle. No good if you’re at all experienced with this type of puzzle.

### 1/5 — Highly disappointing

*2018-02-24, version 1.3*

I wanted to like this app, as it looked quite nice from the description. However, the controls were extremely clunky, and the only puzzles available for free were the "practice" puzzles. In order to play more levels, you need to purchase individual "packs" for $2.99. This is outrageously expensive for such an underwhelming picross app.
There are so many other good picross apps out there that are completely free. Skip this one.

### 1/5 — Needs easier fill control

*2017-12-28, version 1.3*

You need to hold the button with one hand and scroll with the other instead of just hold and scroll to fill in row of squares.

### 1/5 — Not really free

*2017-04-08, version 1.0*

You only get a pack of 14 very simple puzzles before you have to pay for them. Don't waste your time.

### 2/5 — Needs a slight modification to be excellent!

*2022-02-12, version 1.3*

I have been enjoying this app. However the decision by the developer to allow only three errors before forcing the player to restart is very limiting. With large puzzles of 20 x 20 or 25x 25 you have to work very hard to complete a puzzle. Yet it’s very easy to make a simple error of accidental touching a wrong square and making a mistake. You can work for hours to solve a puzzle and then make an error and have to restart. This is an unnecessary rule. It really is VERY FRUSTRATING to have to replicate hours of work There does not need to be any limits on the number of errors. Without the 3 error rule you might not gain any stars but you will complete the puzzle and continue to learn and improve. There are plenty of other games that do not make you restart after a fixed number of errors. I note that people who are a bit obsessive will be happy to repeat the puzzle many times to have three stars. Don’t force that on every one. Would you please allow the option to turn off the three error rule that forces you to restart. I have purchased only one extra set of puzzles so far. Making me restart after hours of work solving the puzzle increases my frustration levels to the point where I would never buy any subsequent sets of puzzles.

### 2/5 — Awkward controls

*2020-02-19, version 1.3*

I love this kind of puzzle, but the controls are difficult to use. Now instead of fat-fingering with one finger, I now have the opportunity with two. This game would have been impossible to play when I had a broken wrist. At best, it would have been extremely tedious.

There are many better written games like this to be bothered with one so awkward to play.

### 2/5 — Ok...

*2018-06-22*

This app is okay. But okay only. It would be a good challenge except it tells you your errors as you make them which is unnecessary and kind of kills the experience of trying to 'solve' the puzzle. Moreover, the star system used doesn't work for this kind of game - it's based off you only selecting the correct squares. So if you accidentally click the wrong button, there goes a star and you have to start all over. It makes getting 3 stars more of a chore than a challenge. Not fun.
all in all, okay game. Not worth the 2.99$ tho.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — The best

*2025-02-22, version 1.3*

I have tried lots of these kinds of games. This one is the best

### 5/5 — One of my favs...

*2019-09-06, version 1.3*

This game is comparable to World Mosaics. Loved that one an awful lot. Bigger puzzles and less on the sides. Would love some updates!!

### 5/5 — Best one of its kind

*2018-07-10, version 1.3*

I loved this game! Definitely the best one of its type - I’m bereft now I’ve completed all the puzzles 😱 I’d love more packs to be created so I can keep playing it!

### 5/5 — Love it

*2018-05-31, version 1.3*

Awesome game, great graphics and great brain teaser, can’t get enough

### 5/5 — Love!

*2018-04-23, version 1.3*

I absolutely LOVE this game! I’m really hoping for more levels soon in an update!

### 5/5 — Love this game

*2017-10-27, version 1.3*

I love this game. It can be hard to use in the larger puzzles with more boxes, I’ve found that the slider bars are a little better, but selecting the correct box can be hard. I just wish they would come out with more levels!

### 5/5 — Great game

*2017-07-14, version 1.2*

Love these puzzles! Please make more sets!

### 5/5 — Good version of this type of game

*2017-06-02, version 1.0*

After playing free levels, I bought the other levels. They are progressive and interesting. Played it several times from the beginning again by deleting app, then restoring purchase, and all levels cleared to start over, to get 3 stars for each level again.

### 5/5 — Best Pixel Puzzle App

*2016-08-28, version 1.0*

Good progression from easy to challenging. The format allows you to play with out hitting incorrect boxes with fat fingers! Only wish there were more puzzle packs available!

### 5/5 — Great Puzzle App

*2016-07-08, version 1.0*

Love this app. Lots of puzzles, not much money for premium, and they get really challenging the higher you get. Hoping for more levels in the future...
