## What is Pixelcade Sidekick?

Pixelcade Sidekick turns your iPhone or iPad into a companion screen for your arcade cabinet. Launch a game and Sidekick shows its artwork and details right away, and keeps up while you play.

REQUIRES PIXELCADE
This is not a stand-alone app. It works only with a Pixelcade installation on your arcade cabinet or game PC, which does the work of finding each game's artwork and sending it to your device. Learn more at pixelcade.org.

WHAT YOU SEE
• Box art, flyers, fan art, marquees, cabinet photos and in-game screenshots
• Game details: year, publisher, genre, number of players and a description
• Control layouts, so everyone knows which button does what
• A live in-game HUD with your score and stats as you play (with DOFLinx)
• High scores, plus sound effects for new high scores and achievements

EASY TO USE
• Swipe to flip through the cards, or swipe down for a menu that jumps straight to any card
• Works in portrait and landscape: turn your device and the card redraws to fit
• Finds your Pixelcade on your network automatically. Pick it from the list and you're done.
• Tap the screen to show the settings gear
• Runs on every iPhone and iPad screen size

WHAT YOU NEED
• A Pixelcade running the latest Pixelcade software, with Pixelcade Sidekick enabled
• Your iPhone or iPad on the same WiFi network as your Pixelcade. Some hotel and guest networks block devices from talking to each other; use your home network or a hotspot instead.
• Keep the app open while you play. Turn on Keep Screen On in Settings, and use Guided Access to dedicate a device to your cabinet.
