I wish the mobile version allowed you to wipe data from the original photo vs ha to make a copy. ### 1/5 — Does not work *2020-01-18, version 3.9.10* Downloaded app to change dates on photos. Followed prompts. Hit save then all you get is spinning wheel for hours but no change in date or time. I have an iPhone 8, it won’t save my videos or photos, it won’t seem to find any of my albums to save my edited videos to. Pointless, don’t waste your time downloading this crap. If possible, please send some details on what parts don't work for you to our support email: support@pixelgarde.com Your feedback will help us fix issues that we might not be aware of, or improve the experience inside the app. Thank you. ### 3/5 — Awkward and cumbersome but does the job *2019-05-13* I wanted to adjust time stamps on photos by a specific amount, but in order to do this, I had to manually set the time on every single photo. Additionally, the process for doing each photo requires about seven different taps or actions. It’s really slow and laborious. If I were aware of anything better I’d recommend that instead. **Developer response:** thank you for your feedback. if you want to addd the same time and/or date to several photos or videos, you can do this by creating a profile with the exact data you want to add, and then all you need to do is tap on each photo or content you want it applied to. however, if you are adding a different date/time to each photo, then you are correct, as each change is custom. thank you for reviewing my app. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2019-02-10, version 3.9.6* Tried to change metadata on a photo several times. It didn’t work. ### 4/5 — Great for hiding precise location *2018-12-01, version 3.9.5* For someone in the line of work that I’m in, this is a wonderful way to keep your identity and location safe and private! Definitely gonna rave about it to my other fam girls. ### 4/5 — Minor bug, but the best I found. *2018-11-30* Advertises for stripping privacy exif data which is works well for batch files. My use is primarily for adding dates and locations to scanned pictures. I would like to see some help files. A bit of a learning curve as there are different ways to do the same job. But in the end it does the job. Keeps the resolution on the new saved file. Keeps original file. Using IOS 12.1 ### 1/5 — Thinking of changing a date and time? *2018-09-09, version 3.9.5* This is the first time I’ve ever written a review- don’t waste the 2 dollar in app purchase in the app. In app, the time and date changes, but you can’t even save the photos back to your phone. Thought you would want to know. 😇 At present, I have only changed 2 dates taken and added titles, then I realised the altered photos has to be SAVED. 😮Unfortunately the other 50 altered photos were not saved and get more practice using Pixelgarde. 😂👍🏽 ### 1/5 — False advertisement *2018-07-25, version 3.9.4* purchased and just wasted money. did not do the work as said. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Please choke on your latte *2021-11-14, version 3.9.15* Your app is confusing, not intuitive, there is no batch function or it’s broken or we can’t randomly find it, and you are so lazy you did not include a user guide. Your about/info page is a transparent overlay on our photo library thumbnails with grayed out white letters that are 90 percent illegible, and only visible if our photo under it is a solid wallpaper. Is this your so called user guide? Why is it transparent? Nothing else on our phone is. Help opens the your email address. No, we are not going to waste our time emailing back and forth with a developer who cannot even make legibly opaque pages. It would have been far less hassle for us to flush our $3 down our toilet instead of flushing it into your wallet. Thank you ### 1/5 — Would be nice to test it before paying *2021-07-24, version 3.9.14* I tried to change the date on one photo. In the app it appears to look like I successfully changed it and I ended up with the water mark on my photo. But when I went back to the IOS app the only thing changed was I now have a watermark. The date never changed in the IOS app. I put my photo in photo shop and removed the watermark. **Developer response:** Hello. I'm sorry the app didn't work well for you. Downloaded this app, paid $2.99 for the Pro upgrade, and was able to correctly tag all those photos in less than 60 seconds. Allows you to type an address and update multiple photos at once. Work flow is a little over complicated.
