Where’s my dice?!

I Preordered the Onyx Black RPG dice set in their website in April 2024

It’s been over a year later and even people who donated to the Kickstarter still don’t have their dice sets

They even said to Not go to support to ask for order updates, because they haven’t bothered to do anything but say “manufacturing is getting better, but we can’t guarantee when we’ll ship out the dice”

Latest update ruined the app

This worked until I installed the latest update…now I can’t customize my dice with custom sounds….which is the only reason I bought them in the first place.

Love pixels

Two features I felt were missing: (1) the ability to export dice profiles so that you can share them with other people, and (2) a shortcut to change the profile for a dice. For example, a long press on a dice in the dice bag could allow you to select a profile from a list of favorites. (I want to be able to quickly switch between d20 profiles so I can use one for attack rolls and another for ability checks.) Overall I LOVE the app. The potential for customization is crazy and I love it. I’ve already made a storm-themed profile that flashes and plays a thunder crack on a 15-20. Super satisfying. Next I think I’ll make one with bg3 sound effects. Well worth the wait!!

This app is slick

To be honest, I was getting grumpy and wasn't sure exactly what to expect as I crowdfunded the project forever ago. I shouldn’t have been as the wait was well worth it. This app is well made, intuitive, and easy to use. I’m impressed by the variety of animations, profiles, and customization available. First time use guided me to pair and update easy enough. The developer in me appreciates the ability to make an API call with a payload for each roll… neat! Developer should be proud of everything they have created here. The dice and app is simply impressive. Glad to have support them.

The pixels dice is so nice- app is intuitive

The die is so great. I got an aurora sky d20- the colors are so vibrant and bright, the numbers are perfect and easy to read. It’s animated! It has a good balance and has a nice weight . Pairing in the app was easy, and it shows a history of rolls, and seems easy to use. I’m happy with the loaded animations so I haven’t tried creating or loading new profiles yet.

I have some other light up dice, but this one blows them away on quality, so I’m pleased. It was worth the wait.
