For example, adding text to an image is not easy anymore. It’s been very reliable software both on mobile and my PC. And there were a few sprinkled ads here and there but I get it - it’s free so there’s gotta be something to make money. Until I went to redownload it and now it’s back to back ads!! It’s ridiculous!! I tried to export and they just kept popping up, some even without an exit button. And for desktop, there’s now a “3 export limitation per day” rule. Advertising in general has gotten so out of hand it ruins the experience as a whole. I requested a refund the day they charged me for a whole year and the company and apple have refused to refund me. I used it every day for years and it was perfect. Then a couple years ago someone must’ve bought it out or taken it over because they started doing updates and the thing just got worse and worse and worse with every “improvement”. Now I just yell at it constantly while trying to use it. It’s the most frustrating app on my phone now. I hate whoever did this with every fiber of my being. I feel like a member of my family has died. Like a piece of my life has been destroyed. That is how much I loved the original version of this app. My life will never be the same now. And no, I’m not joking or exaggerating. It was really that important to me. If you have any kindness in you please recreate the original version of this app for us to download. The AI boom happened and it tried to shove AI features in my face, which I ignored to still make my collages. I seriously only needed to put more than one picture together into one. Today I opened the app to find it trying to get me to pay a subscription service. The "free trial" was only for a week. For an app I've been using free of charge for 10 years. I deleted it immediately. I'm not sure who they are fooling if they think they are the only app that can put pictures together into one picture. It's very disappointing to see something I've used for so long fall into the endless pit of AI nonsense.
