Need an option to unselect a photo from a contest. I accidentally select an unwanted picture all the time but no way to unselect it and I lose my credits. It's fun as long as you don't take it too seriously - you can have a sharp, well exposed & we'll composed image losing to an out of focus image of a sunset taken out of a car window, although Pixoto say these quirks iron themselves out....I'm not convinced, but that's users opinions not the software. ### 5/5 — Best app of its type *2016-08-18, version 1.1.3* Definitely the best app of its type. All you get is a cryptic number for which you have no scale against which to judge it. Put a photo in, day later it has a number 214. OK, so what does that mean???? Good? bad? You'll love the fine print. Put a photo out there and it's theirs to sell as the whole scheme is to accumulate photos to sell as stock photos. Put any watermark on a photo and they'll yank it fast enough to make your head spin. Bunch of rosy language up front with nefarious purposes to line their pockets ultimately with your creativity. ### 2/5 — Good concept. Horrible app *2016-01-13, version 1.1.2* While I don't generally take the time to write reviews I feel I need to today. I do like this concept but your app is horrible. Crashing, pics on my page that aren't even mine, no back button and many other issues. I really would like to continue using your app but I think I'm done. It's not worth the hassle. ### 2/5 — Meh *2014-10-30* I downloaded the app after seeing a Facebook ad, thinking it might be fun. They start you out with 30 credits and each photo cost 10 credits to post. If you realize you could have put the image in a better category that will cost you another 10 credits. Credits are earned when you vote on other photos or leave comments, or so I gather. There is some bug or glitch that after you think you've uploaded a photo, it's no where to be found and those 10 credits are down the toilet. I've only had the app for a few hours but it's already happened several times. Since you are choosing one photo over another, it would be nice to be able to go to any particular photo that you're voting on and leave feedback. At this time it doesn't seem to be an option. You're even able to see which photos beat your photo in the side-by-side voting comparison. There is a lot of stuff on here of poor quality. There's seemingly a lot of things posted by the same people which get higher ranks over and over and over again. This is more like a hot or not type of app for your photography than it is ranking or understanding what you might need to change to help you evolve and improve. It may be fun for Instagram users but it doesn't really seem to geared towards proper photography. ### 3/5 — Credits? *2020-12-22* I see that you can get credits if you win a contest right? Well I spent my credits just uploading the photos. I misunderstood and then it wouldn’t load so I could never upload a picture to a contest. So now is there a way to get credits without having to buy them? Cause I won’t do that. Is there a way to enter a picture that’s already been uploaded? And if I delete a picture, do I get credits back from that? There’s also a glitch where the page suddenly turns into word direction but no picture. And I see that you can follow people in here but I don’t see where they are once I return to my home page. I absolutely love though how I can actually go back and look at the pictures I’ve liked. Not a lot of apps do that ### 3/5 — Annoyed sometimes *2017-09-25* The app has lots of glitches. Refreshing doesn't occur automatically. Sometimes have to uninstall and reinstall. There's glitches with voting. Sometimes have to vote twice for the same photo. Photos don't upload consistently, sometimes app takes points for uploading then doesn't upload photos... I wish we could order a print(s) of all of our photos collage style or other way showing all the award badges for use in out personal portfolio.
