### 2/5 — Camera won’t connect!

*2026-07-08, version 3.2.10*

This app was just updated and my camera still won’t connect! I got this camera so I could use an app instead of having to transfer my pictures to a computer!! I hook my phone to the wireless my camera gives but the app tells me I’m not connected! Fix it!!!

### 2/5 — Update terrible

*2026-07-05, version 3.2.10*

The new update has caused problems and now the app won’t connect to the camera’s WiFi and we can’t see the latest pictures.

### 4/5 — Solution for those having connection issues.

*2026-06-16*

Hi everyone! I used to have this problem: I would connect my iPhone to the camera's Wi-Fi network and it would say it was connected, but as soon as I opened the app, it would disconnect. This went on for a long time, but I decided to give it one more opportunity.😭
What I did was put my phone in airplane mode and then turn on *only* the Wi-Fi, connecting exclusively to the camera's network—and that way, I was able to access it!
Even though I found a workaround to get the app running properly, it used to work perfectly at first without needing airplane mode. I hope the developers can fix these connection issues, because it really is a great app that makes taking photos and downloading them to your phone much easier!
I hope my experience helps anyone who is still trying to establish a successful connection between their camera and phone.

### 1/5 — John

*2026-05-29, version 3.2.9*

Had to turn my cellular off to get it to work. It was connecting, though nothing was pulling up after I turned the cellular off. It worked perfectly.

### 1/5 — Does not connect to phone

*2026-05-29, version 3.2.9*

The camera says connected to device but the app on phone always says you’ve lost connection with camera

### 1/5 — Never has connection

*2026-05-23, version 3.2.9*

So disappointing that I was only able to connect to the app once and it was before October 2025. I have been getting the same error for half a year already I would expect Kodak to fix this issue. It’s like they don’t care about the customer who paid for their product. One of the reasons I got the PIXPRO it’s for the easy WiFi pictures transfer without that feature it’s not accessible camera anymore.

### 4/5 — 2026 App Troubleshooting w/Add. Tips

*2026-05-17*

I just got this camera/app in 2026 and I’ve seen that a lot of people in the comments are struggling and I did too. When I first got the app, I couldn’t get any of the photos to pop up on the app, and I tried all the techniques that people online and in the reviews recommended (such as turning on airplane mode and turning off cellular data). None of those worked out, but after a lot of pain, I’ve finally been able to make it work by changing a couple more specific settings. To share the love in case this helps anyone else out:

1. Make sure airplane mode is on or your cellular data is turned off when trying to connect to the camera Wi-Fi.

2. Ensure “auto switch” or “Wi-Fi assist” in your cellular data settings is turned off

3. Ensure “local network” is turned on in the pixpro app setting

### 1/5 — DOESNT WORK

*2026-04-18, version 3.2.7*

so dumb, doesn’t even connect in the first place. the wifi bs is too high tech than they’ll ever be. just do it the normal way bc this app is stupid.

### 2/5 — Confusing to Use

*2026-04-16, version 3.2.7*

So a lot of the reviews state the obvious. That it doesn’t connect to the camera. I as well had the same issue UNTIL I read a review that said to turn phone to Airplane mode. Once I did that and reopened the app I was able to successfully select and transfer photos from my camera to my phone through the app.

Here are the steps

1) Download App
2) Enable Camera Wi-Fi: Rotate the mode dial to the Wi-Fi icon.
Connect Phone:
3) Go to your phone's Wi-Fi settings and connect to the network named PIXPRO AZ528_XXXX. Enter the password shown on the camera's screen.
4) Turn phone on Airplane Mode
5) Open the App to browse the photos, and select the images to download to your phone

Good Luck!

### 1/5 — So disappointing

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2026-03-29, version 3.2.7*

The app always says not connected. It does not connect to the camera. Even though I’m connected via WiFi. What is going on?

### 1/5 — avec un AZ528

*2026-03-27*

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Demande de mis à jour

*2026-07-21*

### 1/5 — Won’t connect

*2026-07-10, version 3.2.10*

It won’t connect, I tried for so long and it won’t connect. I reviewed the settings on the app and my camera and everything was good but it won’t connect and work! There’s no other app that I can do this so I would give it a no star if it was a thing.

### 1/5 — The worst app ever

### 1/5 — I hate this app

*2026-06-21, version 3.2.9*

Every time I try and use this app it just makes me mad. My camera connects to my phone via wifi just fine and displays that it is connected, but the app tells me over and over nothing is connected. I have tried all the fixes suggested on the internet and nothing works. Save your time with this stupidity and just download pictures with the SD card.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — WiFi does not connect

*2026-07-11, version 3.2.10*

Got my camera yesterday and tried the WiFI feature, the camera screen displayed wifi connected to phone but the App never connects. Tried three times.

### 5/5 — It’s fine

*2026-06-11*

I have found this app to work just fine, especially for its intended target market. The app works with the Kodak cameras I have and gets pictures onto my phone without any hassle. Is this a professional level app? No. Does it do what it needs to do? Yes.

### 5/5 — Great!

*2026-03-28, version 3.2.7*

A little bit difficult setting up with the Wi-Fi connecting, however I can easily transfer images from my camera to my iPad

### 5/5 — Tout fonctionne parfaitement

*2025-08-13*

Contrairement aux autre commentaires que j’ai pu voir , pour moi tout fonctionne parfaitement, connexion rapide et très fonctionnel

### 5/5 — So quick after first connection

*2025-07-09*

This app makes downloading your picture so easy! The first time is a little tricky but after you connect the camera to the phone the first time the phone will remember the WiFi and it will show up anytime when the camera is in WiFi mode. To connect the camera to your phone the first time you need to put the camera in WiFi mode and then go on your phone and go on settings and click WiFi then go to the network section that shows all the WiFi’s and click “other’s” then type the name of the Kodak WiFi and the password that shows up on the camera screen. After that the camera will be connected. Then later times when you turn the camera on WiFi mode the WiFi will be suggested and you just click on it and it will be connected. It’s so easy after the first connection. And when the phone is connected you can see what the camera sees from your phone and take pictures from your phone. Genuinely love this app!

### 5/5 — Easy to use & good quality.

*2025-05-09, version 3.2.5*

It works wonderfully. Not hard to figure out. I love it!

### 5/5 — Works well…

*2025-04-09*

Just rec’d the camera & immediately downloaded this app & it works. Set up camera on tripod & tested the remote handling including recording video & taking pictures. Ability to zoom, (intuitive on remote device) - just pinch in or out which works but a zoom control appears on screen & can be used by pressing + or - control. Allows playback of video though very slow, better option - download to device & play, works flawlessly. Viewing pictures taken & viewed - no problem. Erasing files, either video or pics, on the camera, can be done one at a time or select all (or any) - easily deleted. Overall, impressed with app.

### 5/5 — Works as described

*2025-02-01, version 3.2.3*

Works great for me. Not sure what some are complaining about. Must be user error. Pretty cool feature of the camera/app.

### 5/5 — Very disappointing

*2024-12-13*

Unfortunately, I did not see any of these reviews until AFTER purchasing this camera, having the exact same problem; unable to connect device to wifi. I have tried both airplane mode and going back and forth to wifi yet i still cannot control camera from phone as suggested remote access. This is a definite return. I had no idea before i purchased it would be this difficult. Do nerve racking!

### 5/5 — Great app love it.

*2024-11-17*

There are so many bad reviews but this app makes it easy to put my photos from my camera directly on to my camera roll on my phone. Just make sure you connect through WiFi in your settings. Use the password on the camera when connecting.
