This camera has been out for a while and this app is still buggy. It crashes a lot and gives a lot of "out of memory" errors. The 4K version is no better. ### 1/5 — Useless App for useless camera *2016-01-09* App refuses to recognize camera, and the one time I actually got it to connect, the app simply quits repeatedly, shutting down, not allowing anything. Upon relaunch, gets to welcome screen, and quits again until wifi connection is lost, where you can then begin the whole disappointing process over and over. Without the app, the camera is useless. Don't waste your time on this product. Sending mine back and getting something that actually works. ### 1/5 — Lamentable ! *2015-11-20* Connections YouTube merdique. N injecte pas les meta. App needs update for IOS 9, it either freezes or shows a black preview. Update 4/4/14. - Updated app says firmware has an update but can't find the update anywhere online. (Original review) I think this camera could really give GoPro a run for their money, but only if the software, both for the Mac and iOS gets better. Neither is the most user friendly right now. They get the job done, but could be better. No more gimmicky stuff like dome and ring is needed, work on the real stuff. I like the EV adjustment option, keep going down that road. Some real instructions for the computer software would also be nice. Please keep working on improving the software! How about a way to unfold the videos in the app, just like the computer software. The play and pause buttons are missing when playing a video saved on the iPad/iPhone. Downloads don't show up after it says complete when using my old iPhone 4. It seems the app itself is out of order and having complications cause the app not to function and leaving no way to transfer wirelessly. So no matter which way you record the video it will only save to your photos as a big circle of video. The Mac software does the same but the pc software is fine. There is a publish to youtube button that works but it doesn't convert it to youtubes new 360 videos. Again the beta version of the software on pc does this fine.
