Or spend $5 for a half finished game. Needs accessibility tweaks for movement and dashing. Great gameplay and loads of fun for the first 2 levels, but it lacks the depth for the price that it is listed. ### 4/5 — Such a fun game!! Multiplayer? *2025-04-29, version 0.3.11* My significant other had introduced me to this game and described it to me as two of our favorite multiplayer games; Brotato and Vampire Survivors. The elements are similar and it’s a great entertaining way to kill 10 minutes if you have some time to waste! I took away a star because as much as I love this game so far, it’s not multiplayer and I feel that it would be so fun if you could play the same level together with a friend! I hope the devs see this and can make it happen, as I would probably spend a lot more time playing this game along with my s/o when on the metro or when we just want to play on the couch. ### 2/5 — Ad 403’ing *2025-04-20, version 0.3.11* I want to love this game and I do despite some control issues. That seem ridiculous concerning the dash… But I make you watching an ad every two minutes ish. Royal match and several other guarenteed 30 second ads, mandatory. And if u sie u can watxh an ad to come back… for a 60 ad penalty…. Where u will probably die anyway and when u do…. Likely 15 second mandatory ad to return to the loading screen…. Ad whoring at it’s finest. The original game was better. And no forced ads. ### 2/5 — No thank you to ads in the middle of gameplay *2025-01-05, version 0.3.11* The game is pretty fun at first, but before I could even get hooked in there was an ad that interrupted a run. Pay-to-skip dark patterns like this are an immediate turn off for me. Have the premium version. Great game. However, it will never, and I mean this clearly: N E V E R give you the final item needed to complete a recipe. I’m not sure what the cause would be, other than pushing the player to purchase more dice re-rolls. Love the game but not a fan of these predatory mechanics. ### 4/5 — Great take on VS genre, but app closes a lot *2024-09-20, version 0.3.11* I’m having fun with this game so far and even paid to unlock ads (I love rewarding devs for making quality apps without putting this feature behind a monthly fee). I would love to see some more variety added in time to spice things up a bit. My only minor point of frustration is that the game closes quite frequently if I’m mid run and turn my screen off to do something else for a few minutes. This has ended several endless runs. Would up to 5 stars if this issue is sorted out. ### 2/5 — Needs work *2024-07-24, version 0.3.11* The game is fun, but there are changes that need to get fixed before it’s playable. My biggest problem is that if your screen shuts off you will almost certainly lose all progress you made in a level. So you are either playing a level for 45 mins +, or you lose everything. If a call comes through during this game you lose your progress as well. What annoys me most is that selecting “resume” on a game takes me far back in time, in a different location, and with none of my recent upgrades. And leaving the app for a very short time (without closing it) means I usually can’t jump back into where I was at, or even just in a place and time near to where I was at. ### 4/5 — Fun *2024-04-06, version 0.3.11* As another has mentioned, having an option for the joystick to follow your finger would be great. Also, adding just .5 seconds of invincibility after being hit might be sweet. ### 3/5 — Average game *2024-03-24* Was fun for a week of plays but gets boring fast Companions made the game easy and makes progression too fast. I feel that enemies move slower than the player, can we remove dash? I complete the game many times without upgrades, the upgrades didn't felt necessary. ### 2/5 — Frustrating *2024-02-29, version 0.3.11* The game is really fun, I would give it 5 stars but it’s really frustrating when I get a call in the middle of a game or I leave the app even for 1 minute. The game completely restarts and I either have to start from a save point (which is never close to where you were) or if your in endless mode you just lose all progress and coins from that game. I would understand if the game restarts after several minutes of being gone, but it restarts even if u leave the app for a second. I get a lot of calls so it’s almost impossible for me to finish a game. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — The worst on the market *2026-03-17, version 0.3.11* There's just a ton of ads. Every time you level up, an ad appears, after which the game freezes, and upon restarting, you lose your upgrade. So, in a 10-minute round, you watch 6 minutes of ads, and you have to re-enter the game every time. I understand that the game is free, but I've never seen such greed, even in donation dumps. The game sucks. 10 ads out of 10. ### 1/5 — Disruptive ads break the game *2025-08-05, version 0.3.11* Downloaded this for a long flight and it was running well. Pretty good retro vibe and I enjoyed the roguelike progression system. As soon as I made it back to cellular service and wi-fi at home, I noticed that ads would appear mid-game and I was unable to close them after they finished. Forced me to close the game and since it reloads into your last save, that essentially means you have to start the stage over. Not a big fan of being forced to pay for something billed as free with an option to donate for ad removal. An alternative is to play on airplane mode, but I'm not interested in jumping through that hoop to play a quick game. ### 1/5 — Glitch *2025-03-06, version 0.3.11* Almost every enemy that I killed dropped loads of the upgrade crystals. Enough to level me up ~5 times per enemy. This made the game not fun.
