Orders are delayed without proper updates, customer support is slow and often unhelpful, and resolving issues feels impossible. The app itself is unreliable, with frequent glitches during checkout and inconsistent order tracking. It's frustrating to spend time placing an order only to deal with unexpected problems afterward. What's even worse is the lack of accountability when something goes wrong. For a global brand, I expected much better reliability and customer service. Instead, this app has consistently delivered a poor experience. Until these issues are addressed, I can't recommend it to anyone. This has honestly been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with any brand. I would specifically like to raise a concern about a staff member named Mr. Vivek. I am not aware of his exact position, but his behavior was completely unacceptable. He lacks basic communication skills and does not know how to speak respectfully with customers. I want to profit my business. That’s what Pizza Hut has gone for now. A year so ago, they were showing how much time it would take to deliver . But now, you just have to keep starting at the message which says “your pizza is in the oven” on the app after you place the order. When you cal the CC number, they just say “Sorry for the inconvenience “ that’s it. No doubt lot of local pizza outlets have picked up well. And the pizza is not that great as well. What made the situation worse was the excessive delay at the store. I reached your outlet at 4:30 PM, but due to issues with the online order not being properly placed, your staff made me wait for 65 minutes. I finally had to walk out at 5:45 PM after a very frustrating wait. After discovering the wrong pizzas at home, I immediately called the store to report the issue. Says order delivered but I didn’t get any delivery. No way to complain, the store phone number is always switched off. Update: I had already given up hope and I was too hungry to wait so I had already cooked on my own and I couldn’t cancel the order because they do not allow you to cancel orders from the app or raise complaints from the app. And since their phone number was switched off there was no way to tell them the I want to cancel the order. An hour later I get a call from the store telling me that the delivery driver has arrived and NOW we will send you your order, when I tried to cancel they refused a refund at first but later on they agreed to refund but without providing me written confirmation. I still do not have my refund nor any written agreement of refund from Pizza Hut. My order was not ready until 1:15 pm also. Then they said that delivery was given out from 11:45 am only. After 8 attempts to call centre and customer service lines, I was finally able to reach store manager, he got us our pizza’s by 2:00 pm. Even getting a pizza is a struggle here, no matter the brand. The order was placed, payment was done, and I was waiting for the delivery. After half an hour, the app showed “your order has arrived.” I waited another 15–20 minutes, but no one came to the door or anywhere in the society. I tried calling the delivery number, but it was switched off. Then I called customer care—waited on hold as my position moved from 20th to 2nd, and the call got disconnected. I tried again, starting from 17th, and finally after 6 minutes, I got connected. But the customer care guy had a rude and sassy tone. He acted like a typical government employee—no empathy at all. He just said, “You’ll get your order soon, wait,” without apologizing or even sharing the delivery guy’s number. After another 12–15 minutes, the delivery person arrived. I asked him about the delay. He said he had two more deliveries before mine, which was fine. I just suggested he could have at least called to inform me. When I told him it had been over 40 minutes, he showed me the receipt and argued, “No, it’s only been 37 minutes.” My mother was hungry, so I chose to walk away instead of arguing at his level. So they said it will take 75min for the delivery, I asked them to cancel and refund since I was so hungry, for which they said they will, but it didn’t happen until the next day morning hours. Later I had to call the helpline multiple times to check the status as there was no email notification on this order cancellation. I understand as sometimes there will be operational challenges. But Why can’t there be a process to monitor the undelivered orders and proactively check with stores and plan for cancellation notification and timeline commitments on refund to improve the customer experience.
