Each time you try to open the downloaded app, an update prompt appears. Attempting to skip the update causes the app to freeze, preventing access to the content you intend to study. Once you’ve attempted questions, you can’t simply reset them and practice again without paying for another extension. For a question bank aimed at medical exam preparation, being able to redo questions is a pretty basic revision feature. Students often want to revisit questions after learning more, but having to pay again just to reset previously attempted questions feels more like a way of generating additional revenue than providing a genuinely useful study experience. The content itself may be useful, but the reset policy is disappointing and makes the platform feel unnecessarily money-focused. I hope PLABable reconsider this and allow users to reset their questions, or at least offer a reasonably priced reset option. ### 1/5 — Crashes multiple times a day *2026-04-10, version 3.78.0* The app crashes so many times a day whenever i open the app and click on yes to go where i had left off. It just closes the app and goes back to home screen. My exam is so near and I'm losing out on chunks of time because of this bug. It’s not letting me skip downloading the offline images, so I thought ‘might as well download them’ but now it’s not downloading the images. The moment I shut the app it restarts downloading images and has used up my day’s mobile data as well as a significant chunk of my wifi. Please fix! ### 1/5 — Bug *2021-11-09, version 3.0.22* Every time I want to use the app, it starts downloading data to be able to work offline without asking me whether I want it or not. And it takes ages to download even 10/500 files it needs. And if I let the app download it after an hour it starts over from the scratch. This app is useless! Another fantastic feature of this app is not letting me skip this ridiculous data downloading. Bravo! You did great! Super annoying time-wasting platform, exactly what we need to prepare for this exam. ### 1/5 — Deeply disappointed. *2021-04-30* ‘Dont try to fix something, which isn’t broken’ - the PLABABLE administration should deeply contemplate this famous saying. Its unfortunate for me to belittle the efforts of the PLABABLE team, because of a miscalculated decision on their behalf. The Qs were available even offline, which meant that I could go over chapters and attempt mocks even during my hospital shifts (in which there is very poor internet coverage at my hospital) - a hugely beneficial strongpoint! However, the Qs and mocks now are ONLY available when you’re online - meaning I’m wasting countless hours during the day when i dont have internet access, not being able to practise and go over answered Qs. I’m genuinely deeply disappointed.
