## What is PlaceVR AI?

PlaceVR AI turns a walkthrough into a shareable 3D virtual tour.

  Built for real estate agents who shoot their own listings. Scan the space
  with your iPhone's LiDAR while you shoot 360° panoramas — PlaceVR builds
  the floor plan, places every shot on it, and publishes a link your clients
  open in any browser. No headset. Nothing for the viewer to install.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-08-11

This release focuses on capture reliability — anything you have already
scanned should never be lost.

• Floor plans are now saved continuously while you scan. If the app is
  interrupted, closed, or crashes, the rooms you already captured are
  still there when you reopen.

• Shot positions are saved the moment each photo is taken, so a tour can
  be recovered after an unexpected exit.

• Camera height is now taken from your own tape measurement instead of
  being estimated, giving accurate hotspot placement on the floor.

• Multi-floor tours keep each floor independent — use a different tripod
  height per floor without affecting floors you already shot.

• New on-site warnings: floor not scanned, unstable floor detection, and
  a mismatch between the height you entered and the scan estimate.

• Points whose position cannot be determined reliably are now flagged
  instead of being placed at a wrong spot.

• 3D dollhouse view and room dimension labels in the shared tour.
