But the customer service is very pathetic and not customer centric. They don't mind the customer satisfaction. Here is my experiecne: I am a customer since last 5 years and now my account restricted from transfer due to cancellation of a recent transfer before the funds are deducted from my account. When I approached customer service, they said to upload several documents and I did. I was told that I will receive an email with the details. To my surprise, I recieved the email but asks me to pay $10 to unlock it. What kind of unethical business is this? Placid team, I tried to reach out customer service several times to explain but no luck. So leaving this review to at least the top mgmt know about it. ### 1/5 — Pathetic service and intentionally hold money for 6 days after withdrawal of money from us account *2023-08-28, version 3.5* Service is pathetic and no privacy and data protection. You can expect to get call from anyone and ask for your personal information. There is no proper channel for verification. Even being a customer you might be put on hold for transfers for days without intimation about what they are waking for. Better to get away and use other providers who responds better way. This app looks for access like balance, transactions which is none of their business. ### 1/5 — Can’t delete account *2023-07-19, version 3.5* This app is very intrusive if you like your checking account. You also can’t close or delete account. They keep your private information and possibly share it, if you didn’t out. The 10 dollar referral is a lie also. My wife sent me the link to signup and she didn’t receive anything. To top it off, the money i sent to her was cancelled after after 3 hours of her waiting for the payment i sent her. The reason for cancellation was that we had two accounts in the same household. This company also knew my social security number when i signed up. I had never used this app before. Without giving proper reason they blocked my account and never turned it back and also never heart after that . If the account is verified by Plaid, why then make some small deposit check again. Poor process, if so then just remove Plaid integration or just say you don’t trust Plaid. If don’t support promo code then just say it. In the form it asks for promo code but then when I enter it says I missed some information, it took sometime to understand and once I remove the promo code then it worked. Poor messaging, better you could have said we don’t support promo code. Cheap way of doing business. ### 1/5 — Scam, don’t install. *2023-01-11, version 3.2* This is one of those apps that tries to lure you in with a good new user exchange rate. Everything goes downhill after you start the money transfer. No details are needed to initiate a transaction but the customer support team from India will call you on the phone and ask for personal details like wire transfer document, screenshots of your bank account, and other personal details. They’ve found a loop hole to hide all the original reviews that complain about the stuff they are doing and they’ve had fake reviews written and marked as helpful so that they show up first when you install the app. Don’t fall for this. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Poor service *2026-05-06, version 6.4* I am really disappointed for them service I request for money transfer receipt from 2016 to 2023 they never provide me that. That’s very important for me. Someone told me I need to submit written request whatever they told I did many times I send email for my transaction receipt but nobody give me that . Seriously? Is this even legal in the United States?
