The fuction of the app is in the name and it’s not even possible because of this one oversight. Other than that, this is such a robust, wonderfully crafted amiibo archiving tool. ### 3/5 — Placiibo is alright but… *2022-10-21* I’ve never been able to get an encryption key loaded there for have never been able to load a amiibo, is it possible for a tutorial to be provided **Developer response:** Thank you for your review. Please don’t hesistate to reach out to customer support with the built in option in Settings should you have any other questions. ### 3/5 — eh *2022-08-23, version 1.5.3* its ok, used to work great but now its super finicky and barely writes amibo. id probably buy it again tho super easy to use. im gonna continue to use it although i absolutely hate having to try and figure out why my amibos aren’t writing ### 2/5 — Scam *2022-05-19* I’m quite young so this probably annoys me more but it started out great I watched videos on how to get all the files and made my first three tags great went to buy week sub and it was really hard to do but one finally worked my bank said it worked apple says I have a subscription and I go back into the app and it hasn’t worked I just got scammed **Developer response:** We’re sorry to hear that you’re having issues. We look forward to assisting you! ### 1/5 — Random scans *2022-04-26, version 1.5.3* This app would be great if it actually worked. It only wants to work randomly. I thought at first it was my phone or case interference but my ntags work with other apps with ease. I tried scanning one ntag all day and didn’t work then change the bin file and it worked. Did the same with another one and it didn’t work the first 20 tries. App is selective with what it wants to scan. ### 1/5 — Wasted my tags *2022-02-21* Doesn't work properly. My switch doesn't read the tag as an amiibo but a different software I use to read tags can Identify it. So pretty much wasted the tags because I can't actually use them :/ Would avoid this. Tagmiibo or TagMo are much better despite potential price/incompatibility with ios. **Developer response:** We’re sorry to hear that you’re having issues. We look forward to assisting you! ### 5/5 — Works Great! *2021-11-17* I was worried since I saw some reviews saying it didn’t work, but I had zero issues with the app. Pretty simple interface and it worked for the 4 cards I’ve made so far. I went ahead and paid for the full version after the 1st worked so I could make more. Definitely cheaper than eBay lol. After the latest update it's impossible without an extra subscription. Instead all the new bloat functionality I really don't need is available. But the one purpose the app originally was for and users paid for is now locked behind additional costs. Worst kind of surprising longterm users with an update... Would be fair if old users could decide on keeping the old app version (similar to how GoodNotes handles it) or at least let them keep the features they already paid for. Really that gets fixed **Developer response:** Thank you for your review, and we completely understand your concern! We made sure legacy users retain full access to everything they originally paid for, including unlimited NFC tag writing from storage. If you are being asked to pay for this, it is an error. Feel free to use the option to contact support in the settings, should you require any further assistance. ### 1/5 — No longer works? *2024-05-24* Tried on iPhone 14 Pro Max and doesn’t seem to want to write to an NFC Chip. Just keeps the ready to scan screen there with no movement. Amiibos worked instantly. The developers have lost their minds. Just get Amiiboss (free) or AmiiBox (one time fee) instead. There's nothing this app does better than those two. Plus the snarky responses from the developer don't inspire a lot of confidence. ### 1/5 — binary files nowhere to be found *2023-03-24, version 1.6.3* i understand that you dont provide binary files but you need to tell us where to get those. i did a google search and couldnt initially find anything on tutorials. The website offers no help at all either. ### 1/5 — Money hungry *2022-10-28, version 1.5.3* It’s wild that android has plenty of free options but this money hungry app only allows three. That reason alone I’ll never support this and am glad I had ad blocking the short time I used it. Edit: the snarky developer response only backs just point that much more. Talk about unprofessional 😂. Again, the fact that android has multiple free options nullifies their response considering those devs can pay their bills just fine. ### 1/5 — i’d give it 0 if i could *2022-06-02, version 1.5.3* DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. i spent 16 dollars on it and only got TWO free tags. they took my money and apparently i’m not able to get a refund even though i only used it TWICE. Tagmiibo works so much better, and it’s CHEAPER. Do not waste 16 dollars on this, bc they don’t even care enough to fix it. i’ve emailed and no response back. Ridiculous. ### 1/5 — Not worth the money. *2022-05-21, version 1.5.3* The app was working long enough for me to pay for it, but then it stopped writing. I closed the app and reopened it, deleted and redownloaded…nothing worked. I tried another app and I didn’t have any problems. The other app was also a lot more user-friendly and less tedious. Fortunately, I only got the one week subscription, so I’m only out a few dollars. ### 1/5 — Paid lifetime, didn’t get *2022-05-01* Is an amazing app but if you uninstall it even once, the second you redownload it removes everything you paid for. The app is very easy to use, and honestly I have used it hundreds of time with no complaint. If I did have one small niggle about it, it’s that I can’t reorganise the files once I have imported them, but it’s such a small slight that I almost feel bad for mentioning it. I saw some reviews saying it didn’t work for them so I was kind of skeptical but I downloaded anyway. It took a few tries to get it to write the first time but after I got the hang of it, I was able to get my favorite animal crossing villager.
