placiibo: Write Tags & Backup

placiibo 2.0 is the biggest placiibo update yet. What started as a focused amiibo backup writer has been rebuilt into a full all-in-one amiibo collection manager, catalog browser, game compatibility guide and NFC toolkit. Almost every part of the app is new, redesigned or expanded. New in placiibo 2.0: • Complete collection tracking Build and manage your amiibo collection in detail. Mark amiibo as owned, add them to your wishlist or mark them as favorites, track quantity, condition, ratings, notes, custom tags, purchase cost and current value, and see statistics about your collection over time. • Full amiibo catalog and game guide Browse a complete and always up-to-date amiibo catalog with characters, series, release information, compatible games and in-game benefits. See what each amiibo does across Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS titles, or start from a game to discover every supported amiibo. • Powerful search, filters and layouts Search by name, character, series, type, custom tag and collection status. Filter and sort your collection, switch between list and grid layouts, save your preferred layout and sorting options, and customize which details appear on collection cards. • Expanded NFC scanning, backup and writing Scan and identify amiibo, create personal archival backups, write your own amiibo backup files (.bin) to compatible tags and devices, and manage larger collections faster with bulk scanning, bulk import and bulk collection editing. Supported options include NTAG I2C Plus 2K, NTAG215, Flashiibo, N2 Elite and PowerTags. • Game data editing Edit supported amiibo game data and write changes back to your amiibo, including support for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Splatoon and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. • Market value insights Track purchase cost, current value, historical collection progress and market price trends for the amiibo you own, with value graphs to help you follow your collection over time. • iCloud sync and expanded import/export Keep your collection synced across devices. Import and export data using placiibo backups, CSV files, amiibo backup files (.bin), ZIP archives, FCA archives and all-in-one backup files. • New iPad, Apple Watch and tvOS experiences placiibo now supports more Apple devices than ever, with an iPadOS experience, Apple Watch support with complications, and a tvOS app for browsing your collection on the big screen. macOS and visionOS are also supported in iPad compatibility mode. • Widgets and system integration Use Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, find amiibo, games, series, characters and types through Spotlight, and unlock Game Center achievements. Siri Shortcuts can scan amiibo, open amiibo, show filtered collection views or statistics, and toggle owned or wishlist status. • Customization and accessibility Personalize placiibo with color themes, alternative app icons, configurable layouts and card details. This update also includes accessibility improvements throughout the app. • Redesigned from the ground up placiibo 2.0 includes a new interface, improved onboarding, clearer collection workflows, better performance and many reliability fixes. Existing users can keep using their saved backup data, now with far more ways to organize, explore, value and preserve their amiibo collection.
