If you want to bank local, choose Alliance CU. My fiance and I opened a joint acct at plains so it would be neutral and not at any of the places that we already bank, the woman who helped us open. The account was great however, the app is horrible, you can’t do anything without having to go through the browser instead of the app and the customer service at their 800 number was incredibly rude and just kept asking the same question repeatedly, even though it had already been answered multiple times. Reported 3-4 weeks ago and issue still not resolved ### 1/5 — Buggy App *2022-01-21, version 5.0.0.1868* Once again, as with so may reviews for many other apps, it’s hard to understand how such a fickle, consistently unreliable app, gets so many good reviews and high ratings. For 3 years of having the Plains App, I have had trouble after trouble. One of the biggest, INCREDIBLY frustrating issues of his over and over and over it forgets the Face ID and I have to re login, over and over and over. And what makes this so INCREDIBLY frustrating even more is how Plains forces you to use passwords with every special character combination imaginable. So remembering password isn’t East to start. Which means if I am out of pocket I have to wait till I get back to my computer to retrieve it. Also even after a year and half, my sons face is still doesn’t work in his app. He has to type in his password every.single.time. I log in and I see nothing pending and after logging out and logging in several times there it is all my pending transactions. Super frustrating! At this point I’m still logging in logging out and deleting the app reinstalling and nothing. ### 1/5 — Useless, deceptive, and frustrating. *2018-03-07* When the app does open (less than 1/2 the time), it does not accurately report my activity. Expenditures may not show up in the app for up to a week- there are some that have taken almost a month to post to the app. On some occasions a charge will post, and then show that the charge was reversed, and then take it out again. My balance rarely reflects an accurate amount.
