I don’t give it 5 stars simply because of its processing speed. It seems to have improved as compared to previous years. Every little change takes a few seconds to process so in the flow of writing, it doesn’t make it the best tool to plan directly on. Maybe I’m being unfair because I am expecting the same response as a rule. All in all leaving out outside, it’s an excellent platform and if it were not for that, I will give it five stars. ### 2/5 — Don’t trust!! *2025-04-08, version 1.0.22* Generally I like this app but I have lost SO many lesson plans because I’ll be in the app and then need to check something in another app, like a definition, and when I go RIGHT back to this app (took me about 30 seconds) everything was gone. I keep forgetting to hit the stupid check mark to save. Can you please make it auto-save?! The app, however, does not allow for single sign on like google as the desktop does, rendering my access to the app useless. I’ve already paid for an account with my sign on, so not willing to make another. 5 stars for the program, 1 to the app for lack of access. I’m sure I’m not the only one. My mom, brother, sister and I have been using it for almost two years now. My mom puts all of our assignments in for our school. But recently, we have been having major issues. For some reason, assignments are not showing for completely random days. My mom had tried everything to fix it. When she tried to fix it, she accidentally deleted the entire semester. She has been trying to put all of the assignments back in. Now, all assignments are randomly disappearing again. This is not okay because we cannot get behind. Other than those issues, Planbook has been okay. ### 5/5 — Time Saver *2024-09-02, version 1.0.22* The option to embed Planbook into Canvas is such a time saver. This also fosters independence and accountability because all assignments (past and present) are accessible to students and their families. ### 4/5 — Great but *2024-08-03, version 1.0.22* Browser version on a computer is great. iPad App needs lots of updates. Pretty outdated. Including better writing support for Apple Pencil. ### 3/5 — Copy/Paste Feature *2024-03-03, version 1.0.20* It is disappointing that problems with the copy/paste a lesson feature wasn’t able to be resolved. For those of us who repeat a lesson across a day or on different days at different times, we used to be able to easily copy and paste and the time of the class would remain. This feature isn’t a problem when using a desktop machine, but still has not been resolved for iPhone users. The time of each class the lesson is pasted to will change, then you have to go in and reset the time of the class. We aren’t copy and pasting a class. We are copying and pasting lesson. I don’t understand why this feature was dropped. It’s easy to share with others or copy lessons from year to year. The latest version has made most things even easier. Things change from year to year & it’s difficult to figure out. Once things have been set, the rest of the year is a breeze & it’s amazing. Too bad you didn’t ask for a rating later in the year…you would’ve gotten 4-stars! I can design my own templates, add standards with just a click, save my files to a unit, bump lessons for inclement weather days, copy or extend lessons, and SO MUCH MORE. I will never use anything else. ### 5/5 — Does what it promises - and then some. *2026-02-19, version 12.2.0* I have never regretted my subscription to Planbook.com. I recently went ahead and renewed for three years (I would buy lifetime if it were available). There are no ads and this application delivers on all its promises. I teach a combined age class and the ability to build lesson banks separated by units is invaluable. The only thing I would like to see is a desktop application. Right now on my computer I need to go to Planbook.com.
