About

PlaneSane scores travel on what actually determines a smooth trip — not just the price. Flights and hotels, each rated 0–100 for risk, so you can see the problems before you book. FLIGHTS — will this flight actually work out? Most flight search shows you the cheapest option. PlaneSane shows you the most reliable one. Each flight gets a 0–100 score across: • Reliability — on-time and cancellation history from 7+ years of US DOT data • Weather risk — airport weather patterns across 240+ airports • Connection safety — realistic layover times and connection risk • Fare quality — price in context, not just the lowest number Plus a forward-looking delay model that estimates the chance your specific flight runs on time. Search one-way, round-trip, or multi-city. Sort and filter by reliability, predicted on-time, price, departure and arrival time, airline, layover length, and nonstop. Tap any flight for the evidence behind its score, a plain-language explanation, the historical delay breakdown, and airport info for your destination and connections. HOTELS (StaySane) — will this stay work out? StaySane is the lodging half of PlaneSane. A hotel can hold a respectable star average and still hide a real problem in the reviews — a dirty room, a noisy night, a bad location, an overpaid rate. StaySane reads guest-review sentiment by category and scores each hotel 0–100 (higher is lower-risk) across: • Quality & cleanliness — what guests actually report, not just the star average • Location & access — transit, walkability, and airport access • Price fairness — the nightly rate vs. local peers of similar quality • Trust — an established, accountable property Browse scored hotels by destination and open any hotel for the full breakdown that drove its score, including what guests actually complain about. When there aren't enough reviews to trust, we withhold the score rather than show a number we can't stand behind. WRIGHT — your travel-risk concierge Ask Wright to compare options, explain a score, flag what guests complain about, or find a lower-risk flight or stay where you're headed. PlaneSane is free. No account needed. Scores are advisory and informational — they combine historical performance, guest-review sentiment, and a forward-looking model, and are not a guarantee. Coverage centers on US carriers and routes to and from the US; hotel coverage is expanding. PlaneSane doesn't sell tickets or rooms; booking links hand off to third parties.
