It’s easy to care and if you need to cancel for whatever reason that is easy too! I had to cancel for a whole 3 months because of a job loss but then was able to continue thereafter, so I speak from experience. They have about 15% Administration costs meaning 85% goes to the projects and they rank high on transparency reports and independent audits. I’d highly recommend this way to give back to the planet. A little from everyone goes a huge way to protecting the planet we live on. There isn’t a plan B if we screw this one up! Plus you get to see with video and frequent update how your donation is making a difference! Just try it with a few dollars per month. I’d like to think it’s not a scam but it sure feels that way at the moment. Fortunately the card mine is on has been replaced so the renewal will fail, but I’m not happy about the possible impact on credit rating. This has given me something to look forward to every month, I love the countdown to the next mission, the world map, and the badges. The app itself functions very well, I have never had issues. PW appears to be extremely well organized and puts a lot of thought and research into each project they partner with. I especially appreciate how they partner with local communities and indigenous peoples to imbue long term habitual and ecological change. Remember that even their lowest tier $6 membership is impactful over time.
