## What is Planetary Atlas?

Planetary Atlas turns open planetary-science imagery into an atlas you can fly through. Start at the whole solar system, pick a world, and pinch your way down from the full globe to a single crater floor — with the name of everything you pass.

FOURTEEN WORLDS
Four planets, seven moons, Ceres and two asteroids. 829 imagery layers and 15,025 named features, all built from open data published by NASA, the USGS and the mission teams who gathered it.

SEE THE REAL SURFACE
Every world is assembled from the actual spacecraft mosaics — Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter at the Moon, the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter and Viking at Mars, Cassini out at Saturn's moons. Where a mission mapped a place in detail, you can keep zooming until you are looking at metres per pixel.

NAMED FEATURES
Craters, maria, valleys, ridges, plains and landing sites, labelled with the names the International Astronomical Union gave them. Search for one, or just wander until something catches your eye.

MEASURE THINGS
Draw across a crater to get its width. Compare a canyon on Mars against one you already know on Earth. A to-scale view sets the worlds side by side at their true relative sizes, which is the fastest way to feel how small Ceres is and how far Jupiter's moons outrun our own.

BUILT FOR CURIOSITY
No account. No feed. No advertising. The atlas opens where you left it and gets out of the way.

THE MOON IS FREE
Explore the entire Moon — every layer, every named feature, the full set of tools — without paying anything. Atlas Pro opens the other thirteen worlds.

ATLAS PRO
A subscription unlocks all 14 worlds and every tool, available monthly or yearly, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Family Sharing is supported on all three.
