## What is Planetary Clock?

Planetary Clock is simple and elegant app what shows positions of all planets of the Solar System at any given day. The app uses precise calculation to determine accurate positions in real time.

Sun’s and planets sizes are not to scale in order to show them clearly, but other parameters such as size of orbit, eccentricity, shape of the orbit and position of planets are calculated using precise NASA data.

Planets are also realistically sized to each other

## Key features

- Real-time planet positions
- Accurate orbital calculations
- Uses NASA data
- Relative planet sizing
- Educational solar system view

### 4/5 — Love it, so handy!

*2025-02-02*

Great app to get a sense the alignment of the planets. I would have given it a 5 if our moon was included. Maybe a feature enhancement one day? 🙏

### 5/5 — As it states

*2024-06-07*

I would love to see a widget version of this app that i could interact with on my home screen. I k ow someone left a review saying you can’t tilt the solar system but you actually can, it’s kind of hard to navigate with the zoom aspect and everything but you should be able to. You can zoom in and out. Perf, thanks

### 5/5 — Zscarab

*2019-06-02*

Great to see things I seem to feel is out there

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2018-12-31*

Simple but sublime!

### 1/5 — Simple is the operative word.

*2018-11-16*

Accurate in the description as a simple app. More like a demonstration app let alone being a paid app.

Some improvements.
1. Allow continuous movement of planets instead of selecting dates.
2. View of positions of the planets relative to earth.
3. Listing of transits, conjuctions etc of planets.

I look forward to further improvements. But not a bad start.

### 1/5 — Unausgegorene App!

*2017-07-02*

### 5/5 — This is the best orrery app out there

*2017-06-10*

I honestly don't know why more space and science geeks haven't reviewed. This is an awesome app for referencing where we are relative to other planets in our little solar system. Well done!

### 4/5 — Good app

*2016-08-02*

Simple app that does exactly what is stated in the description, no more and no less. One reviewer indicated the planets jump when rolling from the 31st to the 1st. That is because you also have to manually change the month and then the planets move smoothly.

### 1/5 — Idea nice, realisation lousy

*2015-12-21*

Money wasted.
Idea nice, but it does not give sufficient information. Not all planets visible. No further information about distances. Neither for astronomers nor for astrologers useful.

### 1/5 — Stupid

*2015-10-14*

This is really a dumb app. Would be nice if you could zoom in or out, and tilt the solar system. Can't believe that this is even in the App Store. Glad I got it during a "free" period. Deleting!!
