I will give it 5 stars if you can get it to access the apple home sharing library, which is where all my music lives. ### 4/5 — Awesome! *2023-12-22* I am delighted that you picked up Planetary and ran with it! This is an incredible experience for interacting with your music. I change the orientation on my iPad and phone frequently, so it would be helpful to have the app respond to the orientation changes, as well as have the option to hide the controls/have them fit in any orientation. Also, is it possible to have it play specific playlists or the whole library randomly or sequentially? **Developer response:** Thanks so much for your kind review. This version of planetary is a bit old now and so it has some limitations - orientation changes are something that had to be removed to get it working again. Just fyi I’ve been working on a new version the last few months which will support orientation changes and eventually playlists too. It’s been a few years since I checked so I figured it would be worth another search. Nothing comes up if you just ‘Planetary’ in the AppStore 😭 I then decided to dig around the internets to see if there maybe was a way to revive the old version and low and behold. Planetary Remastered shows up. I can’t believe it!!! It looks glorious on the 12.9” iPad.😍 Thank you so much remaking this lost gem from a time when apps was fun and futuristic. Now most apps are too user friendly and all looks the same. **Developer response:** 🙏 ### 5/5 — Back and still beautiful *2022-11-16, version 1.3* When the original launched, I hoped this was the future of information visualisation, beautiful and intuitive combined to create something wonderful. I loved the concept and was saddened when the app fell out of support. I’m so glad to have thought to check if by some miracle it was back, and was so pleased to see it resurrected. To me, this is visionary and how we should be thinking about interfaces, unshackling ourselves from tradition and exploring possibilities. People were always fascinated when they saw me playing music on my iPad and it was a brilliant concept that made so much sense. It’s great to see it back, and even on the iPhone, though it’s a bit harder to use due to the small screen and lack of search facility. Any plans for a Mac version? I went on youtube to show him a video about it and then i see people saying its back. Wow! Thank you so much guys for bringing this app back. You dont even have to listen to music, just switching from one planet or moon or star to another is just soo soothing. Really the best app out there. Also, if you guys read my review, can you try to make it into an educational app as well, because i would love to show my kids and teach them about our galaxy through this. It just picks a random song and plays that then it keeps your selections alphabetically within that songs range. It gives no direction on how to access the rest of your library. I keep the iPad because some really great apps have been created over the years that are now gone. This is at the top of that list. NOW I can share it and I am ELATED!!!! THANK YOU!!!!! ### 2/5 — No longer works *2023-11-29, version 1.3* Remembered I used to love the visuals, went to comeback and download the newest version, but when you try to start the app, it shows the splash screen and then crashes. When I saw it back in here I was excited and immediately downloaded it on my iPad Mini 4 with iPadDos 14.6 - and lo and behold, it falls over 9 times out of ten before I get to the music. It just shows “Analysing Music Library - Please Wait” with either no white bar or about 75% of the white bar and locks up.
