But, sometimes you can shoot the air and it will hit a random animal. Also the screen randomly freezes sometimes. I recommend just ignore the app and walk around on your own. I won’t spoil any more than necessary. The app is obnoxious and ruins the experience. I’m spending time in the exhibit writing a one star review instead of enjoying it, in hopes that teamLab will take feedback and improve the experience for others. First, catching animals on the floor is near impossible, so I gave up and learned nothing about those species. Second, the requirement to catch three of each species to unlock the entire ecology card is wholly unnecessary. There are 87 species in the exhibit. It would take several hours to make all 261 catches. That’s only if you don’t catch duplicates, which is impossible because many times the animals are layered and the arrow will hit a different target than the silhouette on your screen. This exhibit would be amazing if you could simply point the camera and read the species card. Only suggestions would be to provide all the animal’s information on the first catch since finding 3 of the same animal takes a long time.
