Al walls to be a certain thickness etc. also there is no way to import an existing plan. Once a plan is done and exported that’s it. So when I revisit two years later and want to make alterations I have to start from scratch. If there was a way to archive plans rather a great long list this would be great ### 4/5 — Floor Plan app made Simple, Well Done and almost perfect! *2026-03-14* I had tried multiple Floor Plan apps and found many of them lacking either to simple so not useful, to difficult to navigate so hard to create a floor plan. After a few days of trying the Planit2D app I found it to be useful, simple, well done and almost perfect. Planit2d would be perfect for me, and perhaps most users interested in designing floor plans, with three (3) features added: 
1) Ability to change the opacity / background opacity of the floor you’re working on so you can see and match up to the walls of the floor below; 2) Ability to add tiny labels and arrows to stairs to indicate direction while working on stairs on a specific floor; and 3) it needs a category for storage under Fitout menu. This category should contain storage pieces that are mounted to or attached to walls like kitchen cabinets, pantries, standard closets, under stair storage, and they have doors: single, double, folding, cavity, etc. So just create a sample of Storage units in Fitout menu. ### 3/5 — Функционал *2026-01-05, version 2.0.2* Слабовато. When I managed to try and rename an existing plan, this is flaky it disappeared ### 4/5 — Frustrating *2025-01-22, version 2.0.2* A number of times app has frozen rooms so they cant be moved or deleted or size changed. Only way to remedy it to undo all thee way back or start again! Then I just finished my plan the app froze had to shut it down and when i went back in my plan was gone. ### 4/5 — SImple but effective *2024-09-28* I needed to modify a floor plan but didn’t want to use a more featured architectural app. The simplicity of this app was perfect for my objective. The limitations are more apparent when editing once all the rooms are in place. 1 - The ability to select smaller objects and move them varies significantly with the Zoom level. Undo is VERY helpful because of this! 2 - Undo is also a great feature when zoomed in and there is limited unused screen area to touch. 3 - The snap-to feature should be capable of being disabled. Stretching can be effected by a point in another area making impossible to set the desired dimension. The room will not only need to be removed but moved diagonally from the primary structure thereby avoiding potential interference. 4 - The ability to share files between devices, including M based MacOS devices, is a major limitation. My 27” display would have been an improvement over working on a 11” iPad. I rated this app a 4 independent of the above because I was able to work with its limitation and achieve my goal. The layers are a nice feature. I used Layer 1 for the entire structure. Layer 2 was used to populate the rooms. This helped significantly with editing Layer 1 to support the necessary items. Layer 3 was used to remove the non-living areas and get the livable square footage. ### 2/5 — Good app, but needs a lot of work, can't save to cloud *2024-07-16, version 2.0.2* would be a really nice app, except there are a lot of issues: 1. cant save to cloud 2. cant sync to other ios devices and pickup where you left off 3. file is saved in some proprietary location that you can't access 4. full screen viewing on macos causing lockup 5. shrinking from full screen viewing on macos causes lockup 6. cant zoom in or out on Macos. This is a huge issues!!! 7. sometimes floor plan zooms in by itself and you cant zoom out using a Mac these are the bugs i found within 10 minutes of using this app. shame nothing is tested by developer ### 4/5 — Great but lacks tiny details *2024-05-25* Been using this app for years, and always really liked it. Even designed my mothers new house with this app. You have to get a little creative when it comes to “fill out” features like shelves, fridges, walk in showers, bar stools, water heaters and furnaces, things of that nature. But you can design pretty intricate designs once you get the hang of it. Great app, highly recommend. ### 4/5 — Glitches and limitations *2024-05-11* Easier than other programs for the simple drawings I need. However, sizing a room is inconsistent. Sizing jumps above and below exact measurement I am trying to set. It would be nice to be able to also type the measurement vs only dragging. Makes angled room adjustments tough as well. Snap on/off option disappeared, but certain items are still snapping to grid. Very frustrating. ### 5/5 — It’s Great But Needs Updating *2024-04-19* Update (from me!) Thank you for the UNDO feature! I can't wait to play around with the new and improved version. This is so much fun! I can spend hours playing around with designing my future home. However, many reviewers have hit on the flaws that keep it from 5 stars. Can’t adjust the font size for rooms. Can’t label outside spaces such as “porch.” A slight adjustment makes walls go wonky, and it DESPERATELY NEEDS AN UNDO feature. Sometimes you have to literally move a room out of the house to fix the size. There should also be a way to set the size of a room or element by typing in the dimensions you want. It would be great to be able to add a houseplant, desk, or small table or bookshelf, as well. Developer, please update! :) **Developer response:** Good news: we've just released the long-awaited UNDO feature in our latest update! We're also taking note of your other suggestions. ### 5/5 — Best quick design tool *2024-03-30* I use this all the time in my business. I just wish they had more stamps like trees furniture options etc. I’d even pay for those as a pack. ### 2/5 — It is a good phone App *2024-02-06, version 1.8* Like I stated. It is a good phone app. I wish that it could improve the desktop version. On the desktop version you are not able to delete the designs, rename or delete previous files. Sometimes the page opens up and is uresponsive or opens partially and doesnt allow you to close the app unless you force quit it. ### 5/5 — Easy to use *2024-01-12, version 1.8* Super easy to use for those quick ideas that pop into your mind. No ability to draw a block of land it’s only about drawing the house and that’s not what I asked for thanks for wasting my money ### 1/5 — Planit2d *2024-11-11* This was a great app. At some point, I’ve updated, as per - only to find it now treats me like I’m a newbie who hasn’t used the damned thing before. Also tends to ‘eat’ your designs, and they’re just never to be seen again, and unless you turn off all data sources to the app itself, won’t store on your own device, but in the cloud. And that’d be ok, if you could still actually access the account that someone else has been hacking! **Developer response:** Thanks for using Planit2d! They have a Mac version but it doesn’t work. Can’t sync to cloud. Asking for a refund. Emailed developer with issues. It's nearly impossible to get the correct lengths by dragging your finger. No undo for all the constant errors. No manual input of exact measurements. I wasted $5 only because its the only thing I found to run on my ancient iPad. Time to upgrade gear ### 1/5 — Buggy, no undo *2023-01-05* This app is relatively easy to use, but it’s also buggy. I’ve had two different projects where combining two rooms basically FREEZES the active room and the adjoining rooms. They can no longer be edited or moved. Just stuck on the layout where they are. Also, many users have requested some kind of UNDO button to allow you to undo a recent movement. Sometimes a wall gets ‘stretched’ on a corner and you have to fiddle around forever to get it fixed, where simply hitting a go back arrow or undo button solves it. Another thing is that I’d pay for the drawings to actually show up in a readable format with dimensions and lines, but nope, all you get in a room size. So much this could be for making things simple, but it’s like the 85% solution so far. **Developer response:** Apologies, that sounds frustrating. But good news, thanks to reviews like yours, we've recently introduced the much-requested UNDO feature in our latest update to help address this issue. ### 1/5 — Not Worth Purchase *2022-05-28, version 1.8* Online tutorials haven’t been updated in years. Missing or broken features (cannot import sketches). I have not mastered the use of the application by any means, but I would really like to see the “fitout” section have appliances, like refrigerator, range, water heater, furnace, etc. … a way to get better views of the sizing for spaces.
