## What is PlanKit?

Easily measure and create a floor plan in minutes of your entire home using just your device’s camera. The plan may even contain windows and doors, as well as information about ceiling height, making PlanKit an essential tool for professionals on the go. 

PlanKit was designed for casual users and professionals, such as real estate agents, interior designers, furniture retailers, and more.

PlanKit lets you export your floor plan as a plain PDF report and as an interactive 3D model (USDz file) which allows you to quickly send it to someone over email or any messenger. The recipient can even preview your plan on their device thanks to immersive Augmented Reality experience.

PlanKit automatically calculates room area and displays the plan of the room with all measured dimensions.

The AR stuff just kind of floats around and doesn't measure anything accurately. Also one misstep measuring a room and you have to start all over. Accidentally hit the wrong button and you lose all your progress. There's also no way to edit a room after you've saved it.

Don't waste your money like I did. Avoid this app.

1/Accurately editing angles & lengths E.g. Double tap on a wall or corner to display edit dialog-box for editing metric/imperial values.
2/Add Rooms E.g. Edit existing project/floor-plan by extending or adding another room to the exisiting data, not create a new sheet/plan. What if I want to add the property boundary to the building plan.
3/Adding interior doors, walls & steps E.g. Cupboards, Wardrobes & Shower recess.
4/Add compass rose E.g. North arrow.
5/Add elevation details E.g. A lot of buildings are built into a slope, so exterior paths currently often don’t work with this app, but it would also be nice to know the height from sea level.

After making the above changes think about adding objective data like furniture & plants with sun light orientation timing simulation, into this app & it truly would be a professional application for Architects, interior designers, Landscapers, Property/Project managers/inspectors. As well as be of interest to any one needing to draw up a floor plan accurately, quickly, easily, efficiently & not to mention “on the cheap”. But I like what I see so far, & hope you do well with this product.

P.s. Make these changes & this app would get 5 stars from me, but as it stands, it just isn’t #1 Accurate enough...

Absolutely useless app. AR screws up, no way to edit doors/windows after finishing, a total waste of money.

A misclick while attempting to place a door can delete all the measurements for a room so far, with no prompting. Too unreliable to want to use longer than this.

So far, rubbish, if it was free I’d keep trying, but to charge is a complete disappointment, totally inaccurate. Not just by a bit but miles out .

As an engineer I find this product to be weak. Measuring is good but the final output is bad. I can’t zoom the model, when I try to I end up moving elements of the model which I then can’t undo... Needs some final polishing before it’s a complete product. Shame I spent money on this.

This app makes creating floor plans a frustrating process. Placing markers seems easy enough, until you realize that half of them have ended up floating in virtual space halfway up the wall, at strange angles to other walls, or somehow embedded inside your wall. 
This app is sneaky because it works just well enough to make you think that you could actually end up with a viable floor plan, but no you won’t. 
Although markers can technically be moved once you have your outer perimeter set, the interface to do so is incredibly small and temperamental, it’s very easy to make a crooked wall worse. It’s as is 90 degree angles are forbidden in this app because they sure as heck did not show up once in the many practice attempts I did. 
It’s a neat concept with many practical uses in the real world, but the execution of this app is below sub-par.
