I’m giving it a test drive by planning a solo trip - my only issue is that any time I add an expense, it marks it as already paid. I’ve seen in adds that it can show how much you owe and others owe but if that’s truly something that can be done it’s not easy to see how. The expense calendar won’t let me go passed 1/31/22, confusing the group. ### 5/5 — Great app for group chats and trip planning *2022-01-08* Was sent a link from a friend to join this app for communication for an upcoming ski trip. We were all sick of jumping back and forth from text chats, emails, booking- this app made the whole process seamless. Can do polls within the chat to vote where to stay, what to do- great idea. Sick of going back through emails cause you forgot the address of the Airbnb? Check the itinerary. I’ll continue to use this for all trip planning conversations and even random group chats with friends. It’s nice and simplified and everyone can stay on the same page regardless of the type of trip. I’m going on a trip with people who don’t know each other and would like to use this feature since it is advertised. There is no way to know if the planners here are legit or not. Who is Plannet to say these planners are any good? People shouldn’t waste their time or money. ### 1/5 — Can’t sign up *2022-01-29, version 3.0.24* I can’t sign up because it won’t text my phone (definitely the right number) and I can’t use email instead. There is no way to contact customer service accept here! ### 1/5 — Good idea, bad implementation *2022-01-21* I gave it a shot, but the interface wasn’t very intuitive. Now I get random notifications for accounts that seem like they aren’t mine—random messages from users I’ve never seen, someone just created a “Girls Trip” when it’s only my girlfriend and I using the app. The app will also not load anymore. Maybe I’m missing something? For example, it won’t let me select Dec 28th-January 1st then January 1st-3rd in the same trip. Even though I will be in the same city for part of the day on the first before moving to the new city. I stopped there but other reviews stated that the app became more intrusive from there. ### 1/5 — How do I trust this App??? *2021-10-27* Want to see how the App works? NOPE - you can’t do that! Not without giving it access to your Contacts! You are forced to give access to Contacts - without which the App is useless! Forget about planning a trip on your own! There is also no way to delete your account either! It is not obvious from the welcome email. I don’t like that at all! No option to skip or anything. It also requires me to sync all of my contacts before planning a trip. Not cool. It then sends a text to my friend before I even choose to send them a message. That’s weird. Now I am deleting the app and trying to unsubscribe from my email and unsubscribe link doesn’t work. Every other link in the welcome email works except the unsubscribe. Closed the app and logged in and was unable to plan a trip. Just like the setup, it got stuck and not able to proceed to the next screen. Very simple to use! ### 5/5 — Incredibly powerful and underrated! *2022-08-13* This app needs to get some more attention! I love the user friendly interface and features and almost everything works exactly as you'd expect. There are a few glitches here and there that just need some quick patches but this app has come a long way since I first downloaded it years ago. The ease with which you can create a detailed and accessible itinerary is so satisfying and useful and inviting your friends to the app is seamless. The only glitches I've encountered that have been a bit frustrating is the shared notes feature doesn't appear to be functional yet and the chat bar to send messages randomly disappears from time to time and you have to kill the app and start it again to get it back. These are tiny issues in comparison to the power of this application however and I'm so excited for the community to expand and the trip planner for hire feature to grow! ### 5/5 — Great app to for trip planner! It’s insanely user friendly and I love that it’s a one stop shop for everyone on our trip. I don’t have to relay everything to each person that’s going or they have to input each activity individually. I had an issue with my itinerary, that I worked on for WEEKS, getting deleted (months ago) and a notification for suggestions to changes for the app popped up and I let them know my issue— they got it fixed right away and made it easier to fix if it happens again. Probably some of the best app support I’ve ever dealt with. Will continue to use and recommend to everyone I know.
