We’ve got varying degrees of tech-saviness in the group but I feel like this app really leveled the playing field. No more asking what time an event is 5 times, or struggling to pick a date/time for something. Features I love the most are the ability to create polls in each unique event, the ability to chat per event, and the bucket list feature for things we want to do that are not date specific. My only complaint ( and the reason I gave 4 stars vs. 5) is that the polls are a little buggy. Whenever I use a poll, the formatting in the event chat gets messed up and the poll overlaps with other words. I can sometimes get it to correct by restarting the app or going to the top of the chat and pulling down to refresh but not always. Otherwise, this app is golden! Love it! I would love to see the ability to create and print albums from the photos people upload per event. If you have any other feedback, please feel free to reach out to our team at contact@planpop.com. ### 5/5 — PERFECT!!!! *2025-08-18* Listen, I have really bad memory so it’s hard for me to remember things especially appointments which is what I mostly use the app for, I set it up to where the the app itself is a widget on my home screen to where I have no choice but to see it everyday and having the the option to put a picture related to l the event as an icon makes it even easier to remember! Many of the good features without the clutter from other social media sites are incorporated into Planpop. It is so hard to figure out how to do something as easy as create a shared calendar. The invites are also incredibly glitchy they will show up but won’t allow me to say yes to plans. I also keep opening the app and it randomly takes me to the 70s and I can’t find a way to fix it other than opening and closing the app which only works half the time. Very disappointed and not user friendly. ### 1/5 — Absolutely Horrible!!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!! *2022-05-29, version 0.9.198* They’re paying people to write fake reviews. I was one of those people. They promised me $5 to write a 5 star review, and I did, but was never compensated. TRASH!!! ### 1/5 — Not impressed *2020-08-02* This app is cute, but there’s a Couple things that are deal breakers for me. First, it glitches a lot. Second, I don’t like that it automatically uploads the photos to the certain days. A!: most importantly, if you want to delete any of the automatic uploads on the days, it will delete your photos also from your camera roll/iCloud. It made me sad when I went to my camera roll and my pictures from family vacations or dates were just gone. Now I’m scared to delete the app and lose everything from there past couple months. I’m only keeping this app bc I’m scared to lose more photos, but I don’t plan on using it at all due to these experiences. ### 2/5 — Update made almost unusable *2026-01-25* I chose this calendar app for the way it was set up and the user friendliness. This last update has made me question whether deleting it and starting over on a new app with my boyfriend is worth it. The creation of events and plans has become a completely new screen and process that is much more complicated and annoying to use than what it was before. It makes me not want to use it, and I have forgot to add things because of it, causing me and my partner not to know when things are, which the intention of having this together was to fix that. IDK we are still holding out to see if his app updates to look the same as mine, or if mine will go back because of negative feedback. They recently updated the app, and made it extremely difficult and confusing to use. Honestly, I am still completely unsure of how to add things to my schedule now. I hope you guys revert this update, me and all my friends miss the old PlanPop!!! ### 2/5 — Used to love *2025-10-13, version 0.9.591* I LOVED this app until the most recent update. I mess up the times all the time because it auto jumps to am or pm and I forget which way to scroll to fix it and then it auto changes the other time I already did. And it’s a back and forth thing and it’s very frustrating. PLEASE add a feature where you can mention (@) specific ppl as well was @everyone!!! my friends don’t like their phones blowing up anytime someone sends a message under an event they’ve rsvp’d yes or maybe to, need options to adjust notifications to where you can pick and choose what kind of notification you receive; example: only being notified when a plan has changed and/or when you are mentioned in a personal or @ everyone mention (plssss add this feature). it would be great if you could also add a feature to where you can sync your planpop calendar(s) with your iphone calendar without having to export each event. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — It’s good *2026-07-28, version 0.10.109* This is a life saver because my boys gc is just spam so now we can hang out ### 5/5 — Best Group Planning App *2026-07-13* My friend introduced me to this app because she wanted to spend the 26’ summer together with all our other friends. It honestly made life so much easier especially for planning and working around everyone else schedules. The RSVP feature and the Plan Idea features are extremely useful and it is not something that is typically seen in calendar apps. The Idea feature is a way for people to write down events that may interest participants BUT with no specific date or time yet. So, instead of setting down a date and having to keep changing it to fit everyone’s needs, you can just chat on the app to see what works best for all parties, THEN turn the idea into an actual event plan. The app in itself is extremely user friendly and not difficult to understand once you have messed around a bit in the app. I honestly never write reviews but I think everyone should give this app a shot especially if you want to have a summer (or year) involving your friends! **Developer response:** Thank you so much for your review!
