Völlig unbrauchbare App

### 1/5 — Basic

*2020-03-27*

This app does not always get the correct plant details let alone the desease correct. Also no further information apart from the diagnosis

**Developer response:** Dear sender

Thank you for your remarks. You have a valid point regarding the fact that there is only information about the diagnosis. We will add some guide as how to treat diseases in the next update

### 1/5 — Horrible!

*2020-02-29*

I took photos of leaves and the app results show something completely different! Waste of money!

**Developer response:** I am sorry to read that you had a bad user experience. The model is based on photos of plant diseases and our internal test showed an accuracy of above 80%. In order to further increase the accuracy we are adding even more photos to the model. The accuracy can be negatively influenced by lightning conditioning or focus of the picture. Please try to take a photo so that it is sharp and the whole leaf is visible.

### 1/5 — Not useful

*2020-01-29*

Diagnoses were not accurate.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — 1,00 Euro für nix

*2025-07-26*

Idee ist gut, Umsetzung sehr schlecht. Findet Nix. Könnt ihr euch sparen.

### 1/5 — Schade

*2021-09-06*

Leider muss ich mich meiner Vorgängerin anschließen. Nicht zu empfehlen. Kein annähernd, brauchbares Ergebnis.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2021-08-06*

Took pictures of affected leaf and app kept showing something completely different. Waste of money.

### 1/5 — N’importe quoi...

*2021-04-21*

### 1/5 — Utterly useless

*2020-08-03*

Don’t waste your money. I took three different plant pictures and the results were the same. I’d like a refund please. I should have know when they spelt disease incorrectly!

### 1/5 — Mejorar

*2020-06-13*

### 1/5 — Utterly Useless!

*2020-05-28*

The app 'works' by the user taking a picture of suspected plant problems for comparison - only it does not work! Upon pressing the 'Choose' option with a picture open the app simply crashes and closes - no results are shown.

**Developer response:** This is the first time this issue is reported and we have never had this before. Unfortunately we cannot reproduce the problem. Since an update of the app with a new recognition engine is due in June we recommend that you install the update and try again.

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2020-04-24*

The app can’t identify a picture of the vine leaves. It’s unable to see the issue and marks another.
It’s unable to validate what the issue is and nor can it help solve the problem.
Don’t waste your money on it

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2020-04-05*

I am having an issue with my red Pentas. A mineral is missing in my soil. So I took a photo of my penta leaf and the app indicated the problem is peach leaf curl with a 15% probability. I took numerous photos and it kept referencing the peach tree. I also took a photo of a sunflower that has a fungal issue, but the app recognizes it as a pest rather than fungus. However, the app did successfully identify damage from a snail. But I’m still disappointed because I bought the app for my pentas. Snail/slug damage is easy to identify so that wasn’t exciting.

This app would be so awesome to if it could recognize potassium, nitrogen, and magnesium deficiencies. It would be even better if it said, “This is a magnesium deficiency. Add epsom salt....” or something like that.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your detailed review. We are currently working on the next update. This will include a dictionary of diseases and pest and how to prevent / treat them. We are also adding a plant specific section and feeding our model with more pictures to increase the accuracy. Regarding the deficiencies due to e.g. magnesium we need to check if this possible, but will include it in the dictionary.
