Its really practical and easy to use . I only took a photo of the plants and it gives all the information about it, the type, the details, the description, medical use, toxic to cats ! How to water it and on which frequency and more… Then i took another photo to diagnose the problem and it immediately took the photo , analyzed it and gave a diagnoses of the issue and more importantly gave me several solutions from the pot, to the environment, to the watering , to weather, and all the instructions to take care of my plants. ! It is always accurate at identifying my plants and always gives me proper care instructions for them! One thing I have always struggled with is how much to water and remembering to water, this app cured those issues! I can’t even upload pictures of my plants. They have to be photos that are taken immediately and even that gave me an error. ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-06-14, version 3.7.3* I just signed up for the free trial. Every time I take a picture it tells me "oops something went wrong". There is nothing else to the site- no way to cancel. There are 3 slides before the camera opens and nothing after. No menu or way to interact with the app. ### 1/5 — Constant error messages *2025-05-19, version 3.7.3* While I was super excited about the app and purchased the annual subscription after testing it out, unfortunately, the picture analyzation no longer works. For over a month now, anytime I try to take a picture, it starts to process and then gives a, “Whoops, something went wrong. Try back later!” message. This Plant Identifier is a good app and it really shows how to take care of the plant, what kind of plant it is, how to water the plant, if the plant is sick, how long does the plant live and if it is toxic to animals etc. For me that's an important thing since I have a dog at home. I just gave it 4-Star because it's not for free. You have to pay for it and there are some technical issues. It loads so slow and also by identifying the plants it takes a moment to know the plant. System is swift and correct, tells you all the needed details, without overwhelming you with unnecessary information. Plant identifier works just fine, immediately told me what my plants were and how to take care of them easily.
