## What is Plant Identifier. Fix Disease?

Seqvoia helps take care of houseplants.

How it works:
 1. Add a plant - you can choose from a database or identify from a photo
 2. Get a care plan
 3. The app will remind you to water, fertilize, and transplant
 4. Note when you've cared for them
 5. Take photos of your plant every day to keep track of development

How photo identification works:
We've compiled 100 000 plants into a database. A neural network searches for the best match in a few seconds. The data is transmitted via https channel and the photos are deleted immediately after recognition.

Из многих подобных приложений выбрала именно это, оформила годовую подписку. Но есть огромное НО, катастрофически не хватает заметок к растениям. Это элементарная функция, вам о ней написал не один человек, а вы до сих пор её не добавили, почему? Приходится дополнительно вести заметки в другом месте, что очень неудобно 😬

**Developer response:** Спасибо за отзыв и выбор нашего приложения! Функция действительно давно в нашем списке и мы её прорабатываем, но пока что технически сложно внедрить без создания неудобств для пользователей.

There are so many problems with this app that it is not worth downloading, and under no circumstances should you pay for the subscription to see just how bad it can get. Misidentification if any identification at all is the main problem; lack of information on plants; difficult to impossible to navigate. To date there isn't a free plant identifier app worth the trouble of the download, but this is the worst of them all.

**Developer response:** We're sorry to hear that you didn't like the app. 

Identification works correctly in more than 90% of cases if you take a correct photo of the plant - instructions on how to do this are on the screen in the process.

The database is constantly updated with new plants. As soon as the app detects that an identified plant is not in the database, we start collecting information on it and prepare a care plan. Even if it is not there, the plant is still identified and can be added to the garden by customizing the plan yourself.

The app has a native design and navigation elements to give users the best user experience on iOS and macOS.

Очень классно, что можно вносить фото, но при этом почему-то нельзя написать на этот день заметку, чтоб понять, какое удобрение использовала на растение, как долго проводила процедуру какую-то, элементарное вроде бы, но такое нужное упущено.

Приложение отличное, мне понравилось, растения зажили свою лучшую жизнь :) Самое удобное для меня – напоминания и готовые планы ухода для многих растений. Те, которые не смогла найти, без труда добавила вручную, но с 90% приложение справилось по фото. Спасибо разработчикам! купила подписку и очень довольна :) единственное, чего не хватает - возможность распределять растения по комнатам, у меня большая квартира и больше 15 цветочков, из-за этого все идет вперемешку и порой бывает сложно, было бы здорово ухаживать за ними по комнатам

### 2/5 — Too difficult and ugly pics 😖

It says 'use our plant identifier' to fill in the plant name info but it doesn't insert it there automatically, am I supposed to read what your identifier said and then type it myself?? Plant names are usually crazy, I don't wanna waste time typing that. 
Also why do plant pictures look so ugly, identifier takes a picture in 16:9 but then turns it into 1:1 cutting top and bottom, it doesn't look nice.
I'm disappointed, no desire to pay for this app 😒

**Developer response:** Hello! The identifier really doesn't automatically give a name to the plant so the user can come up with one themselves and not necessarily repeat the actual name.

Design is always a matter of taste. The plant images in the cards on the main screen are made square on purpose to maximize screen space.

Понравилось приложение, давно в поиске подобного была. Жаль что можно добавить только два растения, подумаю о подписке. Хотелось бы, чтобы можно было исправить дату в журнале фотографий. Так как я загрузила несколько фото прогресса моего растения, а они все встали от одной даты. Не хватает также строки заметок. Надеюсь приложение будет развиваться.

Приложение очень приятное внешне. Взяла пробный период, хочу вложиться и платить за подписку, но! Сегодня столкнулась с проблемой, что невозможно добавить растение, если его нет в вашей базе… а база у вас далеко не полная. Понимаю, что пополняется, но все же. Дайте возможность добавлять растения к себе самостоятельно без указания типа растения из вашей базы.

**Developer response:** Здравствуйте! Возможность добавить растение не из базы данных всегда присутствовала в приложении.

Чтобы это сделать, нажмите «Добавить Растение» на главном экране - Введите имя - Настройте информацию об уходе (можно один любой из четырех пунктов).

Тип растения выбирать необязательно, он лишь предлагает готовый план ухода, если есть в нашей базе данных.
