Some plants can be quite difficult to identify, especially if they’re less common or the image isn’t very clear. We’re continuously improving our identification system and expanding our database, so results should get better over time. Please feel free to test it with other plants, and if you’d like, you can share the specific flower with us—we’d love to take a closer look and improve our accuracy.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our app only uses the photo you select for plant identification — it doesn’t access all your phone pictures. Also, your photos are never shared or uploaded. The app keeps everything on your device, and there’s no option to share images from the app. If you’re still having trouble, we’d be happy to help further. Just let us know!

The page you saw after selecting “red” is part of our scientific identification feature, which helps users identify plants by answering simple trait-based questions (like color, leaf shape, etc.). If you prefer a faster method, our app also includes a photo identification feature — just upload a picture, and the app will suggest possible matches automatically. We appreciate your input and are always working to make the app clearer and more user-friendly.
