### 4/5 — Good but could be better

*2026-03-03*

This app is basically exactly what i was looking for. It’s very simple and it tracks well. I like the visual of having the numbers so forefront. It has helped me immensely with tracking and helped me eat more plants. When i started this challenge i was tracking just in my notes app which was very inconvenient.

I also love the “plant suggestion” at the bottom. Would be nice to add recipes in here somewhere.

The biggest issue i have with this app, is that it feels unfinished. There are a LOT of missing plants. Whole wheat isn’t even an option. Of course, you can add your own, but I’m doing it quite often.

I do wish there were more options for filtering data or to generate stats. I’d love to know my most common plants or get some sort of tally.

Overall a good app if you just want to use it for keeping record. I enjoy it and i bought the membership because it works well for me. There’s just definitely ways it could be better.

### 4/5 — Enjoying this app

*2025-05-07*

This has been a great way to see if I am getting enough variety in my diet. Suggestion for next update: Would it be possible to nest multiple plants under one? I’m not sure it’s fair to count oat milk and oatmeal as two plants. But I’d like to be able to look back later and see what varieties of oat I had.

### 4/5 — Easy on the go tracking

*2025-03-20*

Every now and then I do the “30 plants in a week challenge “ to be sure I’m getting enough veggies, etc. This app makes it very easy to keep count as I go about my day.

I do wish I could edit the meals from time to time. For instance swapping a pear for an apple in my green smoothie. Once a meal is created it can only be deleted, not edited.

### 4/5 — Promising App

*2025-03-10, version 1.2.0*

Limited functionality but slicker to navigate than its main competitor.
Real shame that neither has iCloud backup / sync across devices to make it really usable.

### 4/5 — Helpful for mindful eating

*2025-02-05, version 1.1.4*

This simple app is definitely helping me to keep track of my plant consumption. It encourages me to broaden my choices when they restorative and make the effort to top up if my number is on the slide. I like the ‘add a meal’ feature and will use this a great deal. Can you delete a plant if added by mistake? I haven’t yet figured out how to do so. Thanks!

### 4/5 — Useful

*2025-02-02, version 1.1.4*

A great idea to remind me to take in a greater variety of plant based food. As a vegan this is fairly straightforward but it is easy to slip into eating the same foods. Only criticism is that it is not able to change portion size if not done straight away.

### 3/5 — Easy to use

*2024-12-09, version 1.1.0*

A great way to help keep track of plant points. Unfortunately it doesn’t reset the weekly total, back to zero so I have to uninstall and reinstall on a weekly basis.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2024-12-02*

A great way to help keep track of plant points.

### 5/5 — Useful tracker

*2024-10-29, version 1.0.1*

This is a great way of keeping track of the number of plants I’ve eaten in a day / week and definitely encourages me to buy a greater variety. Good little tool.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App just does not work

*2025-02-14*

I paid for a subscription mainly for the ability to change the date so if I miss something, I can go back and add it to a previous day. I can open the calendar but cannot change the date either by clicking on the date or entering the date in the heading. I can enter a new date but it says “out of range” even though it was yesterday. The app support page says “coming soon.” This is disappointing I was looking forward to using plant points. It would have been helpful.

**Developer response:** At the time you reviewed you could not go back before the first date you first opened the app. I have now changed it so you can go back years before you started using and add data. "App just does not work" is a massive over-exaggeration for your complaint with the app

### 2/5 — Great app but no longer has free version

*2026-06-08, version 1.5.1*

Really loved this app but now I can’t use it for free with adverts? It now requires me to pay :(

### 2/5 — So many fruits and vegetables are missing…

*2025-12-08*

Avocado, cucumber, pickles, all the lettuces… I’ve only had this app for a few days and every day I’m having to type in custom plants.

**Developer response:** You only have to add them once, I’m sure your database will be complete soon. The app is in many languages, it costs a lot of money for translation, so thousands of possible plants was not possible sorry. There’s 26 lettuces. Also pickles are cucumbers

### 2/5 — Etwas unübersichtlich

*2025-09-20, version 1.2.6*

Was bedeuten die farbig unterlegten Quadrate oben?

### 2/5 — App froze, lost everything

*2025-05-06*

After using the app every day for almost two months it wouldn’t open. Conventional wisdom says to delete and re-download. I did that. All my weeks of healthy eating were GONE. All my added meals, all the added vegetables. And app support is a dead end. 😡

**Developer response:** Sorry that this has happened. We can see from the crash reporting your device had run out of space and the app failed to store its data. It is not the conventional wisdom to delete the app, had you not done that it could have been rectified. Support is not a dead end, another person this happened to contacted us and it was fixed. We are making changes to try and prevent this from happening to anyone in the future.

### 3/5 — Missing plants

*2025-12-09*

Functions well, but I couldn’t even enter all my foods on the first day of using it: collards, lettuce, arugula, and SOY of all things are not options!!

**Developer response:** You can add any food you want into the app. Type them into the search and an add button appears at the end of the list. It wasn’t possible to have all the plants and colour variations in existence. There are 26 kinds of lettuce. Translating that into multiple languages would be very expensive, this helps the app remain low cost

### 3/5 — Paid Subscription Erases Streaks

*2025-11-17*

I‘ve been diligently logging my plants every day for nearly a month but have occasionally forgotten to log my dinner. I decided to pay for the subscription so that I could add my dinner the next morning even though I always far exceed 5 plants a day. Well apparently making use of this “premium feature” erases your streaks! And I paid for the privilege! I can understand if the streaks are erased when no logging has occurred but I met all of the criteria even without going back to add my forgotten dinner and still my streaks have been completely reset. What a massive disappointment.

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear that happened. I will investigate and fix any issues so it doesn’t happen to anyone else. Sometimes it’s because the device is full and there is no room for the additional information.

The streaks should recalculate. If you continue using the app normally it should re-count. If it doesn’t please contact support so I can assist you further Alexander@everettappdevelopment.com

### 3/5 — Worked great for a few days

*2025-01-08*

I started using the app last Friday and it worked great adding all of my Plant Points. Today is the following Tuesday and I’ve tried four times already to add my points for today and it ignores them. I spent the $14.99 or whatever it was, it looks like I wasted the money.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Amazing app developer

*2026-06-02, version 1.5.1*

Genuinely useful product and not riddled with adverts like so many other apps - thank you for putting the users first.

### 5/5 — UPDATED Paid Subscription Erases Streaks

*2026-01-24*

ETA- Seems to have corrected itself as devs said!

### 5/5 — Perfect Little App

*2025-11-01*

It surprises me how often I haven't eaten any veg, and encourages me to increase variety. Thank you!🌱💕

### 5/5 — Almost Perfect

*2025-07-13, version 1.2.3*

Been using this app for 6 weeks now and thus far it has been great but I have one feature change which I think could make a lot of difference! Hope this makes sense but I find it easier to just add all the plants I eat that day, the problem with this is that when I have repeated plants it still counts on that day’s tally. If I do it that way, I can have a whole week of solid green when in reality I’ve eaten a lot of leftovers and there should be days where the green isn’t as bold. So to get the data presented in a way that I find helpful, I have to keep checking my weekly list of what foods I’ve had to make sure I’m not adding any repeats. It would also be nice if you could compare weeks in some sort of tally. The app has been super useful in helping me improve the variety of my diet so for that I’m still giving it 5 stars!

### 5/5 — Tolle Unterstützung!

*2025-07-11, version 1.2.3*

Eine Frage: wie groß / wie viel Gramm, sind eine Portion?

### 5/5 — Exactly what I need

*2025-02-05, version 1.1.4*

The creator is also responsive on Bluesky to my feature requests!

### 5/5 — I can't believe I didn't find out about this sooner

*2025-02-03*

This app is such a great way to keep track of my health journey. I love it so much and am so attached:)

### 5/5 — Useful app

*2025-01-24, version 1.1.3*

Great app for recording plants eaten and seeing the results, shame I installed it on my iPad and not my phone, would have been easier to update it during the day, rather than trying to remember everything later. Have had to add quite a few new plants, particularly teas and other beverages, it would be good to assign the portion size to these new plants as they are saved so I don’t have to adjust each time.

### 5/5 — Iss bunter!

*2025-01-13, version 1.1.1*

### 5/5 — Problem fixed

*2025-01-10*

I posted a review the other day stating that the app worked fine for four days and then I’ve been unable to add plant items since then. Anyway, today, I did an update on the app and it seems to be working fine now. The developer did respond to my complaint and resolve the issue quickly.

**Developer response:** Hi Steve. My sincerest apologies for this. Our bug reporting tool has picked up an error on one device, I believe this to be yours. I have corrected the issue in the latest version. Please update to continue adding your plants.
