Are they against making money? ### 2/5 — Not ready *2020-12-26, version 1.0* This app and store have been great. However they create a app and a reward program that are not ready to talk to the store or use gift card. I received a gift card and couldn’t use it on the app and then when I went into the store I could use my number to actually redeem rewards and they wanted to take my number and then I can only hope they reward me later with the points. Programs should not be created if you and your locations are not ready to talk. We are in a time where this is mandatory and I’m sure it’s the way to make sure you spend money and not the gift cards. This needs fixed immediately and I am shocked that the owner would allow this to happen. This isn’t a small error this is a huge mistake and any person with a brain would have stated this to everyone before a launch of any sort. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Really disappointing app *2025-05-30, version 1.7.0* So first, you have to opt into marketing texts in order to sign in, which is a disgrace. Second, none of my previous orders show up even though I’ve used my number before. It’s really a shame because this is one of the rare places I can eat out. ### 1/5 — Apple Pay Bug *2025-05-29, version 1.7.0* Don’t use Apple Pay at checkout. It hangs up and you are charged anyway. ### 1/5 — Fix the rewards system on the app! *2024-04-30, version 1.7.0* It is not fair that points disappear whenever they are applied, despite the order not being confirmed. I had to start my order over, which lead to my 2000 points disappearing forever, despite my order not being confirmed or going through. This means my points were just donated back to Plant Power without my free entree. So much for spending my money going to one of the very few vegan restaurants in my area just for no rewards in return. ### 1/5 — Primitive *2023-04-12, version 1.7.0* 1. Requires email every time when checking out. Why do you guys even need that? 2. Automatically subscribes you to emails and messages even if you don’t click the button at the bottom. It’s automatically checked for you and you must notice it to not opt in that. So if you don’t scroll all the way down before ordering you’re doomed to getting spam. 3. Only accepts card information as payment online. No Apple Pay? ### 1/5 — An App in the App Store but no Apple Pay? *2022-08-25, version 1.5.0* I can pay using Apple Pay in the store but I can’t use Apple Pay in your app? Gift card support??? *2021-04-12, version 1.0* Update: So, now they have added support for gift cards - which is great. BUT they are billing a service charge on every order??? WTH?? Prices are expensive anyway - what’s the service charge fee for??? I love that plant power finally has an app and a rewards program but so disappointed that I cannot load my gift card into the app. If I use my gift card, I can’t get points! In order to get points, I have to use the app and a credit card! Really?!? But apparently allot of Postmates drivers know that Plant Power uses a third party to place deliveries, so they can steal the food at will without Postmates being able to trace their drivers. Two times in a week I’ve had my dinner stolen by a driver. Unbelievable!!
