I also love scrolling through the community tab and seeing other people’s plants as well as questions they have. I’m a totally newbie when it comes to indoor plants, so I haven’t been placing them in the best places. I appreciate that the app warns me when my plant is in a spot not best suited for it, but the problem is the warning won’t go away after I fix the issue. I change the site, both irl and on the app, but the warning still being there is both confusing and annoying. I looked up on google how to fix it, but nothing that was suggested has worked. There’s a true possibility there’s a function already in the app that I’m simply missing, but I would really appreciate it if the warning would go away after I resolve the issue. ### 4/5 — Very helpful *2026-08-21, version 3.118.0* This app is very helpful, unlike some other plant apps. Glad I found this one. Easily identified plants, allows edits to correct minute id errors. I loge all the features and its one of the very very few apps that I pay the sub for. I do have a minor concern that in the last couple of months there has seemed to develop a very bad lag when browsing plants. Like scrolling becomes a mission! For example, they have you do “plant updates” but then the AI can’t see those updates so you have to repeat information to get a diagnosis. I’d expect the AI to be able to follow along and hold the context of a plant’s lifespan to offer suggestions more automatically. ### 3/5 — Not happy *2026-08-10, version 3.117.2* I am not happy with this app. It does not always work well with identification and diagnosing. Since the last update, it has not been alternating the water and water with fertilizer options resulting in the app suggesting I water my plants multiple times a week. Every plant person knows that over watering will lead to root rot. I have to many plants to be checking if they need to be watered multiple times a week. I reached out to Planta support to make them aware of this problem, even providing screenshots, and just got someone who kept checking my log and telling me what the app was all ready telling me and was completely unhelpful. I gave up trying to explain to them what the problem was and just cancelled my premium subscription. Lately my app has crashed/frozen in the diagnose my plant chat feature…it freezes every time and I have to close out of the app and go back in. ### 4/5 — 한달사용후기 *2026-07-31* 한달정도 사용해봤는데 물주기 관리가 편리하고 기록도 할수있어서 좋아요. 다만 몇가지 개선되었으면 좋겠는점은, 제일 잘 보이고 제일 많이 보는게 물주기인데 잘 안보여요. 영양이나 다른 아이콘에 밀리기도해서 따로 고정된 물주기 알림이 식물 리스트에서 보이면 좋을것 같고 식물 하나하나 들어가서 주는게 아니라 리스트에서 바로바로 줄 수 있으면 편할것 같아요(다른앱에서는 그렇게 사용했었고 편했어요) 그리고 물주기 알림이 이상해요. 맞춤설정으로 매주를 선택 해놔도 물주기 알림은 12일후 13일후 이렇게 설정되요. 오류같은데 식물 몇개가 그런식으로 나타나서 너무 불편해요 오류좀 잡아주세요. 돈주고 구독해서 쓰는데 이런 오류가 있으니 별로에요. 저는 물주기 알림때문에 앱쓰는데 그게 오류가 있으니 해결 부탁드립니다. 위에 말한것맡 개선되면 계속 구독하면서 쓸것아요! **Developer response:** Thank you for your detailed feedback! Fertilizing replaces that day’s watering task, since it also includes watering, so with watering every 7 days, every other task may be fertilizing. It misidentified most plants, including calling 2 completely different plants the same thing. It also diagnosed several obviously struggling plants as “healthy.” Completely unhelpful, not to mention that it said “7 days free,” and then charged me on day one. The few “free” features are littered with ads, including frequent popup ads that require multiple steps to dismiss. Premium offers horrendous value- if you don’t shell out monthly for basic features, you are subject to everything described above. The trick is monitoring moisture yourself and using the advice given and the pause and skip buttons. You still need to make sure you don’t over water. The app tries to judge when it’s time to water based on the criteria you enter for each plant, but you still need to check the plants before you water, as recommended in the app. Planta never lets me forget to feed a plant. It also prevents me from over feeding. I don’t know what I’d do without it. My plants are so much more beautiful since I started using the app a year ago. There is no comparison. And I love the progress feature. It’s fun to look at the monthly photos of your plants and see how much they’ve grown over a growing season.
