### 4/5 — My Go-to!

*2025-11-05, version 2.1.4*

I am a plant newbie. I take better care of my plant babies by using this app. The downside is the cost.

### 2/5 — Diseases

*2025-07-02, version 2.1.4*

Does not diagnose diseases- nor offer treatment

### 3/5 — A work in progress

*2025-02-16, version 2.1.1*

As a person that owns over 50 house plants, I wanted something that could keep the inventory easily for me. So far, I am liking the app, but there could definitely be some improvements. The bank of plants needs some updating to include the different variations of certain plants, not just the general, and the light meter part of the app, malfunctions every time, and is very glitchy. I gave this three stars because every time the light meter malfunctions, I have to close the entire app and restart it.

### 3/5 — Meh, needs to know common names

*2024-09-16, version 2.1.1*

I was sent a money tree when I moved to a new home. It would not recognize the picture from any angle and since I did not know the technical name for it, I could not find this plant anywhere within the app.

### 3/5 — Toxic to who?

*2024-06-23, version 2.1.0*

I wish the app would tell me specifically who the plant is toxic to. Is it people, cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrits, hedgehogs, bearded dragons, sugar gliders, etc. This would greatly help pet parents make good plant choices. I would purchase the app or that because I love plants, but also have pets.

### 4/5 — Simple

*2024-06-07, version 2.1.0*

It's simple to navigate, very informative, and you can track all of your plants.

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2024-06-03, version 2.1.0*

This app kept identifying wring plants in my home . Waste of money do not install !!!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2024-05-31, version 2.1.0*

First time user and it doesn’t identify the plant

### 1/5 — Money grabber

*2024-05-12, version 2.0.1*

You can “get the app free” but you have to sign up for an $8/week fee plan or a lifetime purchase (currently options to do that for both $50 and $200) in order to get the 3 day free trial. Knowing how hard it is when you can’t cancel these things it is too big of a risk. Passing!

### 1/5 — Not good at all

*2024-04-14, version 1.20.4*

I’ve taken so many pictures of plants and it doesn’t identify half of them!

### 3/5 — Waste of money

*2024-04-05, version 1.20.4*

This app you have to pay nearly $50 a month to use the diagnose feature by taking a picture. Half the time it says the plant is healthy even when the leaves are yellow and half missing from being eaten by pests. On top of that if you want advice from a botanist it’s $20 per inquiry (I understand they need to make a living) but why is the subscription $50 and that’s not included? Don’t waste your money.

### 1/5 — Not at all useful

*2024-03-22, version 1.20.4*

This app works like sandwich or not sandwich app in Silicon Valley. Doesn’t detect the diseases. Gives contradicting info about sunlight. I purchased this app, used it on my plants and already 3 of them are dead. Try some other apps and let me know if they work for you.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Watch subscription fee

*2026-07-10, version 2.1.4*

Tried 3 day free trial and canceled same day and subscriptions acknowledged canceled . Now being billed $7.99 a WEEK and working on getting the fees to stop . Watch out for billing !

### 1/5 — Hibiscus braid identity

*2025-06-01, version 2.1.3*

This app is not identifying my plant

### 1/5 — Don’t buy

*2025-05-07, version 2.1.3*

Don’t buy. Stupid app and service

### 1/5 — I need to identify my plants

*2025-04-02, version 2.1.2*

Not easy to navigate

### 1/5 — Cancelled MULTIPLE times

*2024-09-16, version 2.1.1*

I’ve cancelled this subscription multiple times and they keep charging me! My subscription has stated “inactive”’for months and I keep getting charged. I tried to use it once and it was useless and now I can’t get rid of it.

### 1/5 — Identifies nothing

*2024-09-10, version 2.1.1*

Couldn’t even identify a simple money plant.

### 1/5 — Don’t download this app

*2024-07-04, version 2.1.1*

It is a misleading app, they tell you that you can cancel it at any time, but when you start canceling it, it does not allow you to do so. They lie to you to charge you after the 3 days free trial

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money

*2024-06-30, version 2.1.0*

Identifies plants wrong and the only diagnosis I’ve ever gotten is a watering issue (but it doesn’t specify if it’s too much or too little water!)

### 1/5 — Poor customer service

*2024-06-24, version 2.1.0*

I got this when it was Carl. They changed the name, and it seems, got rid of customer service. Auto generated responses leading to dead links

### 1/5 — Took my money! No free trial

*2024-06-06, version 2.1.0*

So I tried to start the three day free trial and then 799 a week and I push the side button to except the charge on my phone and instead of giving me a three day trial and then charging me 799 a week it immediately took $13 out of my account. So there was no free trial and it took almost 6 dollars more than it was supposed to. I’m getting ready to call but I believe that stuffed and I’m tired of apps thinking they can do that I want my money back and I’ll never get an app from this corporation again.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2026-05-13, version 2.1.4*

It is an awesome app I can add about 7000 plants and it gives you when you should water it!

### 5/5 — Not happy

*2026-03-14, version 2.1.4*

Wanted to just look up what my plants are to label them and it did a horrible job with the succulents and put a limit on how much you could look up for free. Also puts a ton of pop ups on buying a “Premium Status” that lets you do anything else on the app. Disappointed and do not recommend.

### 5/5 — Yellow iris

*2025-04-26, version 2.1.3*

Long Creek small area so beautiful flower plant life immediately identified couldn’t be happier with the results

### 5/5 — LOVE

*2025-01-08, version 2.1.1*

This is a must have as I have so many plants and struggle with knowing when to water, fertilize, and mist. My plants are very happy!!

### 5/5 — Poor app

*2024-08-23, version 2.1.1*

This app which I paid for, is very bad at getting the plant right. It is not accurate

### 5/5 — A nice addition - plant App

*2024-08-19, version 2.1.1*

I just started wanting to plant, so this app, even though costly, helps me to learn about my flowers or plants and how to keep them healthy.

### 5/5 — Great help for plants

*2024-05-03, version 2.0.1*

I don’t know what I would do without this app. It has helped me so much from killing my plants. I’m so glad I downloaded it.

### 5/5 — Great app for a brown thumb!!

*2024-03-02, version 1.20.4*

This app is great for people who don’t know how to keep track of watering. I love how it gives reminders as well as keeps me on track with care and gives me instructions on how to care for plants. I also love how it gives information on specific plants. Taking pictures is so easy and adding each plant to my plants is a fun way of keeping everything in order and finding everything easily.
The only downfall is the app is a little expensive don’t know if I’ll be keeping my subscription $7.99 a week is a little pricey.

### 5/5 — Plumeria Tree

*2023-10-29, version 1.20.3*

Highly Recommend.

### 5/5 — Use it all the Time

*2023-10-22, version 1.20.3*
