## What is Plantifon?

Plantifon is a garden journal and plant tracker built for gardeners who want a clear, organized way to track the plants they care about most. Whether you grow bonsai, maintain a plant collection, or keep a garden, Plantifon gives you tools to record details, track growth, and keep care schedules in one place.

Track Every Plant’s Story

Each plant gets its own profile: log when it joined your garden, where it’s growing, and who it came from. Add scientific names, acquisition dates, and planting details so you can reference them anytime. Whether the plant was bought, gifted, or grown from seed, its history is easy to find.

Notes That Build a History

Record seasonal changes, growth patterns, and care decisions in running notes. Over time, these entries become a timeline of your plant’s progress, helping you understand what works, what changes, and what needs attention.

Reminders That Keep You on Schedule

Set custom reminders for care jobs like watering, feeding, pruning, or repotting. Notifications help you keep track of ongoing work so nothing slips through the cracks.

### 5/5 — Great for Tracking Bonsai

*2026-03-31*

I have a decent sized collection of bonsai and I couldn’t be happier with how Plantifon allows me to track the things I want to track with a nice and simple interface. I can create notes for each tree along with scheduling jobs to remind me of things like when I need to repot or fertilize. Glad to have found this great little app!
