Try to find alternative options and you got a new customer. Edit: removed another star for app size. Almost 400MB way is to much for virtually any app that is not a game or professional tool. **Developer response:** Hi there! Glad you find the quality great! Best, Max ### 5/5 — This app is awesome. *2021-02-17* I’ve been using Plantry to plan my meals for about two months now and at five meals a week, I haven’t run into a meal that I didn’t like. It took me a minute to figure out how to use it properly, but once I did everything became a breeze. I love the shopping list, the high variation of meals, the option to search for a specific ingredient, the nutrition facts for each meal, the simple way they designed the recipe pages so that you don’t have to keep scrolling back up to the ingredient list, the confetti when you mark a meal as cooked, the option to list only gluten free recipes, the fact that the shopping list tells you how much of an item to get, and most importantly, the recipes themselves. All the recipes I’ve made are fairly easy and not super time consuming, but they are SO GOOD. The way I use the app, since I’m not going out to do shopping anymore due to covid, is to keep the Plantry shopping list open on the app and open the Whole Foods app as well. I can switch back and forth between the apps super easily and add stuff to my cart. I’ve probably saved about $200 a month on groceries this way too, bc I’m not wasting food I impulse purchased and not running into a bunch of unhealthy snack foods in the middle aisles.
