Which just forces me to play online or don’t play any potatoes. Also had 7 plants bounced with the same card which the bot didn’t conjure at all and just bluntly used 7 of the same bouncy trick. I play the game rarely from how many bugs that forces me to start over my phone in order to play any games at all from the bugs. ### 3/5 — Games too difficult *2026-08-27, version 1.66.7* I really like this game. I think it’s a nice addition to the franchise. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to win anymore. I’m not gonna buy any packs to boost my numbers can’t afford it. I gradually lost interest. I started playing it again and forgot why I stopped. I remember now it’s too difficult. It’s not fun to lose over and over and over. When I play ranked, I expect to go against players who are my rank or above or under by one or two. There was one game when I was rank 11 and it put me against someone who was rank 42! The “balance” patches were made by a guy who has never engaged with the medium in his life. The meta is worse than ever, the game is beyond pay to win, and ignoring that, 97% of your matches will either be against opponents with hacked decks, or bots that know every possible “RNG” outcome of each play. Either way, the majority of your opponents will be cheaters and it has been a problem for years. If you’re not facing a bot that reads your deck, you are facing a hacker that can literally make the game think you forfeited the match. PVZ as a whole needs to die to maintain whatever shred of dignity it has left, because the IP owners have not released a good game since garden warfare 2 and they most likely never will. ### 1/5 — Used to be good *2026-08-25, version 1.66.7* I used to play this all the time. Loved it! Ads only if you needed something gems or replays. Challenging but fun. But now you get pop-up ads after matches.
