## Most critical reviews (3 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2024-05-23*

Doesn’t support .dna file and does no let you create a plasmid.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. As of version 1.8.5, we support .dna files for importation.

If you need any assistance with the app please reach out to plasmidsapp@gmail.com for support.

### 1/5 — not what it seems

*2024-01-19*

Unfortunately, GenBank format import works very poorly (strips a lot useful information), manual re-annotation and correction are a hassle. Awkward graphics and not a very user-friendly interface.

### 4/5 — Great iPad alternative to SnapGene

*2022-11-14*

Hey, thanks so much for developing a plasmid app for iPad, this is great. My one gripe is that I can’t open files stored in OneDrive, and I need to copy them to be located on my iPad itself. I’d happily pay for this feature as a premium option if it were to become available.

**Developer response:** Thanks for using the app! I am glad that the app has been useful for you. Unfortunately, due to limited resources, I don’t have an immediate plan to add native cloud storage support to the app. You can however effortlessly import plasmids from many cloud storage apps that support iOS Files app integration. Plasmids X has access to the Files app interface for import/export operations.
