## What is PlateMetric AI?

Snap a photo. Track your nutrition in seconds.

PlateMetric turns your phone camera into a nutrition coach. Just take a picture of your meal and our AI instantly identifies the food and calculates calories, protein, carbs, fat, and fibre — no manual searching, no guesswork.

WHY PLATEMETRIC • Photo logging — point, shoot, and your macros are tracked. The AI estimates portion sizes and nutritional content from the image alone. • Barcode scanner — scan packaged foods for instant, accurate nutrition data. • Quick text entry — no photo? Describe your meal in a few words and we'll do the rest. • Daily targets — personalized calorie and macro goals calculated from your body, goals, and activity level. • Progress tracking — watch your weight trend, streaks, and weekly averages build over time. • Water tracking — stay hydrated with simple one-tap logging. • Saved meals — log your go-to meals in a single tap. • Weekly AI Insights — a plain-English summary of how your week went and what to adjust. • AI Assistant — ask nutrition questions and get instant, context-aware answers. • Metric & imperial units — works the way you prefer.
