Signs you out often. If security is a concern then finger/face authentication should be used at app launch. Half of my screen is taken up by banners in the cart page so barely anything is displayed when scrolling. Most of that should hide when scrolling. App also feels slower than the mobile site and could use optimization.

Not a fan of this “upgrade”. Old app was far better. This was a step backwards in my opinion. It will log you out sometimes and you don’t know till you go to check out. Then when you log in it routes you through Rexell and dumps your cart that you just spent 40 minutes filing. Not good.

I can’t sign in to this janky app. I enter my account and password and it brings me back to the home page without logging me in. I can sign in to the Platt website on my browser but it always pushes the app on me. Why push your customers towards a system that doesn’t work?

The old app actually worked and helped out a ton on material pricing and ordering.  This new one constantly signs me out and has been unable to load for days at a time.   This new update is horrible.

Why would you take the electrical industry’s best mobile app and destroy it? It was awesome, user friendly, intuitive and almost fun to use. Did it need a few tweaks? Sure. I used to use Platt’s app for all my electrical purchases. Now I use Amazon and occasionally will cross reference back to platt once I’ve found my item. But I am doing a lot more business now with Amazon. Sorry. Still love my Platt Warehouse personnel!

Don’t use this app if you want to get something done.  This is a perfect example of management wanting to make something great but showing their inability to do something that helps much less works. Yeah, it has great features but it is TERRIBLY SLOW. Did I say slow, yes very 1/2 the time is spent waiting on the stupid app to load.

Developers,

The old deprecated and deactivated Platt App that is no longer available nor usable if previously installed, has a much more efficient search function, returns items based upon trade lingo more reliably, and remembered your search results when you pressed back arrow after reviewing details of the product, and realized what you looked at did not quite meet your needs. You need to re-input your search parameters and start over.

This forced  "update" to use your new app is a major nuisance to me and my co-workers.
Have had to call the local Platt store to find what I am looking for, removing the benefit of the app alleviating the stores of being on the phone answering questions and taking orders.

The downgrade also fails to remember my credentials everytime I use it. I build an order, go to my cart,review and ensure that is what I need, click proceed to checkout,and am greeted with a sign in page. I sign in, and nothing is in my cart. It is forgotten post sign in. 

Thank you for this excellent level of downgrade and frustration you have forced upon me, and making me build my orders twice.

Please reactivate the other app and allow us to use it, or make this one more functional at its minimal level.

The only consistentcy I can rate at a high star rating is the agitation and frustration it produces.

I don't think that is the intended aspect you want to be highly rated for.

**Developer response:** Hello Mathieu Dunyei,

We have made several improvements around the time you submitted this.  One of the large feature pushes was to improve our search functionality and trade lingo searching.  This has been implemented.

We have also corrected the filter issue when using the back arrow, it will now save your search phrase and applied filters.

Sign-in issues have also been corrected and the need to sign in every day is now gone, and your credentials will be saved

Carts are also saved as well now between logout and login so you should not lose your cart if accidentally signed our or the app closes/etc.

Please update the app to the newest version on the Apple Play store to apply these fixes.
