### 4/5 — Change Your Name

*2025-06-12, version 3.4.2*

Dude, this is probably the worst name you could pick. Its even difficult to find it on my own phone. Try to type Play on the App Store, and see where in the bottom your app is (if it even makes the list)

### 4/5 — Pretty cool just problems with iOS

*2025-06-08*

I have been trying to figure out this app for about 1 hr and it may just be me but i got stuck on moving text all the way to the top of the page. If you can. Learn fast and understand things easily I would recommend this. But Devs can you make the UI more understandable but don’t change where you have to swipe left to get to the items I LOVE that feature.

### 4/5 — iPad app suggestion

*2025-03-31, version 3.0.2*

Play would be really nice on iPad, like the first (now discontinued) play app.

### 3/5 — Good idea, but…

*2025-03-27, version 3.0.0*

It is very difficult to understand the interface and there is no iPad version.

### 4/5 — iPad version of the app

*2025-03-27, version 3.0.0*

Hello, developers! Please make a version of the iPad app 😃

### 5/5 — Please add subscriptions here

*2025-03-18, version 2.5.5*

Need subscriptions in-app for easier payment of plans

### 5/5 — No 1 App

*2025-01-07, version 2.3.0*

Never seen such a impressive app for not even a penny. Thank you sooo much for your support

### 5/5 — Great first impressions

*2024-12-13, version 2.2.2*

The title says it all. I’d love to dive deeper into the tool and see if those impressions last long. So far so good!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Can’t create account

*2025-07-10*

Ive been trying to create a account but when it tells me to enter a code it says invalid i did this 12 times and it keeps saying invalid I check my emails i see the code I type in it does not work i check very hard and I made sure that I was not typing anything wrong i even tried to look at the code on another device and I type in on my phone and it still does not work no matter what I restart app type code does not work i am on the gmail application and I check the code on there and it still doesn’t work I can’t really do anything that’s all the methods Ive tried and nothing works so last thing I can really do is delete the app.

### 1/5 — only iOS?

*2025-06-18, version 3.4.2*

no ipadOS? no macOS and so on?? until then a nice playground only..

### 1/5 — Zaman kaybı

*2025-06-12, version 3.4.2*

Tıklıyorum çok uzun yüklüyor anlamadık

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-06-11, version 3.4.2*

The only good thing is iOS 19 demo on my iPhone 6 because I can’t afford the new ones 😭

### 2/5 — Horrible Editor

*2025-12-17*

This app is fine for previewing a prototype, but the editor is absolutely horribly unintuitive. They should not even have a mobile version of it. You will break things without even knowing you’re doing it.

### 2/5 — Room for improvement !

*2025-03-15*

I had the opportunity to discuss with a team member the potential of implementing this software on an iPad as an alternative to a MacBook for those who already own an iPad and an iPhone. The idea was to improve workflow efficiency and accessibility, particularly for users who don’t have access to a MacBook but still require a seamless design and development experience. However, at this time, they are not interested in exploring this option.

That said, I believe that broadening the scope of implementation could significantly enhance both workflow and market share. By optimizing the software for iPadOS and ensuring it works seamlessly across Apple’s ecosystem—including iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks—developers and designers would gain more flexibility in their work. Many professionals, particularly those in creative and technical fields, are adopting iPads with accessories like the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil, making them a viable workstation alternative.

Additionally, integrating cloud-based development environments or leveraging platforms like Swift Playgrounds for iPad could provide a gateway for designers and developers to work remotely and efficiently. This would not only improve collaboration between design and development teams but also expand the software’s reach to a broader user base, including students, freelancers, and professionals looking for a mobile-first workflow.

By taking a more forward-thinking approach to implementation, the company could tap into an underserved segment of users who need robust design and development tools but prefer or rely on iPads. Investing in cross-platform optimization would ultimately drive adoption, enhance productivity, and position the company as an innovator in the industry.

### 2/5 — Does not connect to the iOS app!

*2024-10-17, version 2.0.5*

I’ve heard really good things about this app and even used 1.0 and really liked it. For some strange reason, this app won’t connect to my Mac (it keeps “looking” for it). Would love to take the new version for a spin if it would let me

### 3/5 — Pas en français

*2025-10-08, version 3.9.2*

Dommage que l’application n’est pas disponible en français

### 3/5 — Keeps crashing

*2025-06-07*

Crashed twice so far on latest version of ios & the app

### 3/5 — A lot of potential

*2025-04-06*

MacOS app looks solid. iOS app needs to be responsive. I hate when I open up an app on my iPad Pro and it’s fixed to a portrait aspect ratio - as a user I immediately feel that this app is then not for me on this device.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

*2025-06-09*

### 5/5 — The best mobile design tool out there.

*2025-06-08, version 3.4.1*

Play is one of the most impressive, well thought out design tools I’ve ever used. It feels like the future of app design. Not just prototyping, but real, native-feeling iOS UI work without writing a single line of code.

Everything is intuitive, lightning fast, and somehow free. The fact that you can live preview gestures, animations, scroll interactions, and real components directly on-device is honestly amazing.

Other tools make you fake the feel of an app. Play makes it real. And it doesn’t shake a cup for any advanced features.

### 5/5 — This is a very good software with great potential. I hope it will not be provided to China.
