Hold your iPhone like a club and swing it. FORE reads your real swing 100 times a second. Swing harder and the ball flies further. Leave the face open and it drifts right, close it and it pulls left. Then the wind has its say. A shot tracer follows every ball through the sky, and every landing tells you your carry, your power and your face angle to the degree. New to it? A short range of five drills teaches you to swing soft, swing hard and shape it left and right. Or skip it and go straight to the tee. One island par 3, 153 yards over the water. Practice drills ask you to land it within 4 yards short, long, left or right, and tell you exactly how far you missed. Your closest shot stays on the tee, so the next swing always has something to beat. No aim stick, no power bar. Just your swing. ## Is Play FORE safe? No countdown. Tap SWING and swing when you're ready. The phone vibrates when you're in position. A new range with five short drills: how to swing, swing soft, swing hard, hit it right and hit it left. You can skip it. New pictures show how to hold the phone and how to shape the ball, and a line above Swing keeps the drill in view. A new ball. It's dimpled, spins backwards and has FORE on the front, and a tracer follows it through the sky, then fades away. Either one can be turned off in Setup. In Stats, the best-shot switch is now called Show above swing. The first time you open FORE, there's one question: how you heard about it. Skip it if you like. ### 1.3.0 — 2026-10-01 Practice now asks for 4 yards short, long, left, or right, and tells you how far a miss still is. Your closest shot stays on the tee, so the next swing has something to beat. The countdown waits until the phone is down. ### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-10 Shot statistics now show hole-in-ones, your averages, and your last 10 shots. The flag flies in the wind on the opening flyover, and a hole-in-one stays on screen until you leave it. Hard swings carry a little further, and shots land more consistently. ### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-09 A short range now teaches the swing before you play the hole: how to hold the phone, how far to hit it, and how to shape it left or right. The count starts on its own once you hold still. Soft swings are still all you need. ### 1.0 — 2026-09-03 No release notes. ## Apps similar to Play FORE | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [GolfSwing: TV Golf Game](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/golfswing-tv-golf-game/id6808613825) | 5.0 (1) | Free | Games | | [Vector Golf](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/vector-golf/id6759990299) | — | Free | Games | | [Par VI Golf](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/par-vi-golf/id6744547485) | — | Free | Games | | [PhoneSwing Golf: Motion Game](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/phoneswing-golf-motion-game/id6796625813) | — | Free | Games | | [Swipe Golf!](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/swipe-golf/id6761384677) | 5.0 (9) | Free | Games | | [Doksuri Golf](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/doksuri-golf/id6790082120) | — | Free | Games | --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
