The app is convenient for finding games, and the fields are generally well-suited for play. However, at one of the fields, they host tournaments and evening games on a field designed for 7 vs 7 matches but allow 10 vs 10 teams. This overcrowding significantly impacts the quality of the game. It seems like they do this to get more money, as every player has to pay $9 per match. This makes the experience feel more like a cash grab than an effort to provide a good playing environment. ### 5/5 — I found my home! *2024-08-23* I love the app, it’s user friendly and you can send invites to your friends to play a match. Matchday is competitive but friendly, which is hard to find sometimes. I love how each game has to result in a win, which makes me fun and exciting for head to head games. Everyone I have played with or against have always been kind, but competitive. No dirty players, everything is always clean. I can finally get good competitive pickup games in premium fields without having to worry about if the other players are going to show up or competitive maniacs who think that they are playing a World Cup match. This app gives me a way to play soccer whenever I want, as a way to exercise. Other players are generally cool and the match managers are friendly and organized. Not transparent and when you try to voice your frustrations you get banned from the app’s player chat. It is not okay to be dishonest with people’s hard earned money ### 1/5 — Mismanaged and now Overpriced *2025-11-19, version 1.68* Lights barely work, sometimes give only one ball, and then fix the the light and immediately increase price. Increase in price but not match quality. ### 1/5 — Horrible experience - BE CAREFUL *2025-11-12* This company wanted me to sign a non disparagement agreement before returning my money after multiple bad experiences. I’ve gone to games where people just walk off the field, very poor experience. I even got to the point where I got to speak with the owner and he was just as childish as the rest of the people that worked there. This isn’t what community and playing soccer is about. ### 1/5 — Criminals stole my money *2025-10-02* I got the subscription thinking it was worth it. After just one month I realized this was a waste of my time. I tried to cancel and they didn’t let me cancel. They went ahead and charged me for an extra month before I could cancel. If you sign up mid month the subscription doesn’t last till mid of the next month, it ends with THAT month and they still charge you FULL PRICE. They go ahead and charge you full price for the following month as well. The games are sub par and usually end up 10-0, whether you’re winning or losing, it’s not fun. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. ### 1/5 — Useless account log-in system and in-game experience (htx) *2025-08-16* 1. The app does not let you create an account. You can only access/book if you login through your google or apple account. Additionally, you can only register yourself and not a plus 1 which seems weak for group-sport organizing. 2. Upon going to my first game which happened to be a tournament, it was extremely unorganized and messy. Not to mention that there were multiple times in which normal tackles became outrageous shoves and early stages of fighting without any repercussions to any of the players involved. Overall chaotic and careless from organizers. **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for taking the time to share this feedback. We’re sorry for the experience you had, especially around match organization and on-field conduct. That’s not the standard we aim to set. A couple of things have evolved since this review. Players can now add guest spots when booking, which was a common request early on. We’ve also continued refining onboarding and account access to make getting into the app simpler and clearer. On match experience and safety: we take this very seriously. Our matches are staffed with trained match managers, slide tackles are not allowed, and we step in when play crosses the line. If that didn’t happen in your case, we want to understand why and address it. If you’re open to it, please reach out to our support team so we can look into your specific match and see how we can make this right. ### 1/5 — hamster016 *2025-08-11* Sometimes they don’t pay the refund due the match cancellation. I had twice the match cancellation because of lack of players, I tried to ask the cs and they didn’t give me the solution and just blamed my bank provider. We value trust and transparency, and we want to make this right. ### 1/5 — Good but need a few fixes *2025-07-08* The app is easy to use, but the customer service is absolutely horrible. Just know if you need help you have to figure it out. I wanted to switch teams and I contacted customer service no one reached out to me as well as a $0 refund. So in order for me to switch and play with my friends I had to pay $9, cancel it, and pay $9 again. We agree this shouldn’t have required extra steps or an additional charge just to play with friends. Since this review, we’ve come a long way in improving our response times and internal handling for team switches and similar issues. As a backup, our match managers can often help make adjustments on-site to get players where they need to be. We also have an update coming soon that will allow players to switch spots themselves up until game time, which should prevent situations like this altogether. Terrible support team ### 1/5 — Do NOT get a membership if you’re visiting short-mid term to one of the areas. *2024-09-03* Coming from out of state it was difficult to find semi-competitive matches and this app helped for me to find some games in ATX. However, I realized that I don’t really need to pay to get decent games if I find a group, so kinda outgrew it. The most annoying thing about this all was that they have a 25 day cancellation policy but has to be done prior to the 1st of the month. There’s really no escaping it so you have to time your cancellation or you get charged for 2-months after the time you are done if you’re not meticulous enough. I get it that they use your info to secure fields with partners but it is a unfortunate that it has to be done this way. If you’re not able to play games I don’t think anyone should pay $100 for not cancelling properly. It seems more appropriate to adjust it accordingly. At the end of the terms I don’t end up paying to play but paying for the convenience of Matchday. My loss, I guess.
