## What is Play Your Music?

Turn music you already have into playable rhythm stages. Import an audio file or select an available song from your Apple Music library, choose Easy, Normal, or Hard, and Play Your Music builds a lane chart around the track.

Chase higher scores, build longer combos, and earn Style Credits as you improve. Complete Achievements and master new songs to earn Encore Gems for animated cosmetic themes. Each song keeps separate score, combo, medal, and mastery records for every difficulty.

This update introduces a complete play-to-own progression system and a major visual upgrade.

- Milestones are now Achievements, with 24 goals across Starter, Progress, Mastery, and Headliner tiers.
- Earn Encore Gems from Achievements and first-time song mastery rewards.
- Unlock Dragon Encore, Galaxy Opera, Crystal Overdrive, and Deep Sea Pulse animated themes. Every launch theme can be earned through play, and optional Gem packs are available for players who want them sooner.
- Track Easy, Normal, and Hard mastery separately, including first Gold and Perfect reward opportunities for every song.
- Explore a redesigned Style Shop with live theme previews that use the same renderer as gameplay.
- Enjoy theme-specific lanes, notes, receptors, timing lines, hit effects, combo escalation, and result celebrations.
- Keep cosmetic progression synchronized through your private iCloud database, with sync status and progression export/delete controls in Settings.
- Refined Encore theme motion with longer, seamless animation cycles, distinctive currency icons, and cleaner home rewards cards.
- Improved score records, results, purchase recovery, duplicate-reward protection, banner placement, Reduce Motion support, chart reliability, performance, and stability.
- Corrected the privacy permission sequence so declining GDPR consent never triggers a follow-up tracking request.

Animated themes are cosmetic only and never change scoring or timing. Style Credits remain earnable from every run, and Remove Ads remains a permanent optional upgrade.
