Shameful, we’re in 2026….apps that still glitch and have inferior programs like this is an embarrassment. Fix it asap or lose valuable clients. ### 2/5 — Dear PlayaBowls.. *2026-07-17, version 7.0.4* Dear PlayaBowls across the map, while we enjoy your offerings and the locations frequented.. can you please clarify why it is necessary to include customer’s name, cell # and email address on your receipts?? That is too much personal information that can be picked up by strangers and not necessary. Starbucks and others are able to provide ordering and pickups with a name. Is this something you can fix or plan to update moving forward? Also, if the App is being used are multiple order emails really necessary when updates and history are built into your App? Half the time I try to preorder anything, by the time I get to go to my cart something glitches and it keeps telling me “phone number required” when I have a phone number on my account. It’s always the most inconvenient time when I can’t stand in line at the store to order anything, so I just don’t end up going. Disappointment for me and loss of sales for Playa Bowl. I have tried ordering online through the browser with the same issue. PLEASE fix this! ### 3/5 — New App *2026-06-06, version 7.0.3* The new app does not allow you to reorder a previous order. I have allergies/modifications and on the old app it was easier because I could just click a button to purchase my same order without having to manually modify it every time. ### 2/5 — App used to save previous orders -doesn’t anymore. *2026-05-25, version 7.0.3* App remembers last order but not any of the customizations so they have to be recreated with each order. My family of 5 orders the exact same 5 bowls all the time and they each have modifications. What can’t show me my previous orders and allow me to re-order those items? If that’s too much technical overhead for you, allow me to create favorite bowls that I can select when I want to order. Those favorites can live on my device or in the cloud and it would be far more convenient than having to recreate these orders every time. ### 3/5 — The App is Okay *2026-04-29, version 7.0.1* I think the app fulfills its purpose. I just wish there was a way to scan receipts or something because sometimes the staff don’t ask me if I have a rewards account and I might forget to provide my number or scan the app in person. Some of the coupons or specials are supposed to automatically appear in checkout since they don’t have a separate coupon code, which doesn’t always work. It’s difficult to tell when the order is placed because I usually get stuck on a loading screen. I also have to ‘schedule pickup’ since there is no ‘ASAP’ option, which usually causes delays. I wonder if this app was made by the same developers as the Baya Bar app, because I have the same problem there.
