Bought the PLAYBULB and the app will not allow playback of music via Bluetooth now because the developers can’t be bothered. Instead, they create new PLAYBULBs and stop supporting their older ones. Why on earth would I buy another PLAYBULB when you have done what you have with the first one?!

Die schlechteste App die ich je gesehen hab. Nichts funktioniert kein Kontakt zu der Lampe! Weder iPhone 5 oder 5s noch iPad Air 2! Die Verbindung findet nur mit dem iPhone selbst statt aber da kann man ja nicht dimmen sondern nur Musik abspielen! Bei so einem teuren Produkt hätte ich mehr erwartet! So kann ich das Produkt nicht richtig nutzen und bin ziemlich enttäuscht!!

The only thing that works is the light. The app plays music through your phone not the bulb. Doesn't work. They need to fix the app.

...which is in dire need of being updated, please!? Light worked for a while then succeeded in connecting audio, now light is not working at all anymore. Hopefully can be fixed. Só glad I only paid 10 Dollars (probably not even worth that much anyway).

レビューにも無い感じだったんで、店舗用に3つ購入してみましたが、それぞれしか音出せません。
3つ同時に音楽が流せるととっても便利なんですがね。
もしくは私がうまく設定できていないのか。。。
音はだけだけ満足ですが、インターフェースやら設定方法やら、わかりにくいですね。

Received this for Christmas and absolutely loved out! Pairing was simple and easy and put out quality sound. Have been using iPhone 6s Plus the entire time but since the latest software update it no longer can play music. I really hope they get this fixed because it's a great product when it works. 

The product is not cheap so feel people are really getting ripped off now.

My iPhone 5s connects via Bluetooth but the app doesn't recognize the bulb...so...bright as hell!! Useless company! Bring a product out and "leave it hanging"!!!

The whole point I got this bulb vs other smart bulbs was for the music feature.. I even went out of my way I got Apple Music thinking it would be more compatible and nothing. Not sure what I could be doing wrong.

I would love to invest in other Playbulbs but it concerns me that once newer models come out the older ones are no longer supported. 
Update this app to work with newer iPhones !!!! Was temperamental at best with Iphone 5, now it's no better than a normal bulb!

I bought this PLAYBULB for the speaker.

As soon as I screwed the bulb in to the socket I paired it with my iPhone 5s with ease.

I played a song through the speaker. It was very loud & clear on full volume. It also plays anything through the speaker such as the clicks on your keyboard on your phone.

I knew I got a text message when I heard it on the bulb speaker.

The light isn't very bright at all. It is only the equivalent to a 25 watt bulb. You can dim the light using the app from your phone. The light can be switched on & off through your app.

If you get a PLAYBULB you will need to buy a converter if you have a bayonet light fitting. It will convert the bayonet in to the screw fitting. It needs to be hanging down from the fitting without being enclosed within a shade. It says it on the bulb.

Yes I would strongly recommend this PLAYBULB to anyone. Yes, it is a bit pricy, but worth it.

Schön wäre irgendwann die Ipad Version.

Using an iPhone 6 I have been able to control light function but cannot play music. Unable to find help on the topic. But found a solution If you connect both Bluetooth devices and rename one to playlight it works great . Two devices come up in Bluetooth settings and both must be connected . Once I got it working this device works awesome .
